    Excellent!

We were so comfortable at this hotel. Great amenities, super clean, and very dog friendly. Only minor complaint was that we were put on the second floor. Would have preferred first floor since our shorties don't do steps! But small compromise for an otherwise excellent experience.

    Quiet Place to Sleep

Friendly workers. Pet relief area kind of small but snow had been shoveled. Clean hotel.

    Super friendly employees

Great visit, amazingly friendly staff. My only complaint is that there was a good degree of green scum buildup at the bottom of the shower doors and the track that those doors ride in. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would happily stay there again.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! From the moment we checked in (extremely dog friendly) to the moment we checked out. Dog friendly, clean, and delicious hot breakfast!

No pet fee!! One of the best nightly rates that we experienced on our 3 week "Western Adventure"!

Very nice motel. King Room and guest laundry were terrific! The forest fires made Utah hazy, so we were unable to fully enjoy the area. Glad to have such a comfortable place to stay!

Not friendly, hotel was loud, people banging on ceiling

Whole place smelled like chlorine, room was ok, bed was comfy. I didn’t like how they let people run around the hotel and someone was above us banging loudly all night. People yelling in rooms and such. Bad vibe.

    Enthusiastic staff

I don't give 5-star ratings, but we had a great overnight at the Hampton Inn Layton. The staff were dog-friendly and happy to accommodate us with a room on the first floor near a door. The room was comfortable and just outside was a grassy potty spot with poop bags and trashcan. There was ample space to walk the dogs through empty parking areas belonging to buildings behind the hotel, with grass berms and trees/shrubs for further sniffing/pottying.

I appreciated the mask mandate and the Covid hygiene the hotel practices. I chose to skip the complimentary dinner and breakfast and eat in my room, as mingling is not in my comfort zone yet. The mini-fridge and microwave sufficed (there was no freezer in the mini-fridge). All in all, a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

    Clean Room And Friendly Staff

The staff that checked me in went out of their way to find a room that was close to the stairs and easy access to the dog yard area. My girl, Jolene, prefers the stairs over the elevator. Both ladies were super friendly. The guy who was at the front desk when I checked out early in the morning was very nice and quickly closed out my stay so I could start a long travel day. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and ample pillows. I really enjoyed my short stay at Hampton.

    Very Pet Friendly Hotel!!!

Such a wonderful place to stay for the humans and pups!!! Room was spacious, very clean and had lots of room for pup beds, luggage and all travel paraphernalia. Wonderful grassy area with bags, trash and even benches. It was well lit in the evenings and felt very secure. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

    The best!

This is the nicest Hampton Inn ever😊. Staff offered to sit with our dogs while we went out to dinner!
We took them to run around at the nearby convention center parking lot which was totally empty. We have an Aussie so he needs to run every day. Easy to access from the freeway and lots of stores nearby.
