    Peaks of Otter Lodge welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $30 per pet, per night. Guests with pets are permitted in King or Two Double Rooms with a Patio overlooking the lake. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and crated pets may be left unattended in rooms. A package with treats and bowls is available. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property, and waste bags are available at the front desk. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

      Great stay

      Lovely and joy-filled stay at the Peaks of Otter off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford, VA. Perfect for dogs - make sure you reserve a dog-friendly room. Enjoy walking around beautiful lake or hiking up trails to 3 different peaks. Relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Great food at the on-site restaurant. Very accommodating staff. Thank you to all. Highly recommended!

      The setting is beautiful and the dog friendly rooms are on the first floor. Amazing walks just outside your door! We’ll definitely be back.

      Beautiful location

      Located in the Blue Mountains with a very peaceful and tranquil setting. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, staff professional and friendly, grounds beautifully landscaped with lots of paved walking trails, and the resort is pet friendly but does nothing extra to welcome them. Food was disappointing; buffet breakfast was cold (oatmeal), dinner menu very limited, and food has absolutely no flavor. Very blah. Wait staff was excellent. Overall, it's a clean and wonderful place to relax surrounded by mountains, a lake, and wildlife.

      Serene and charming

      This place is awesome. Tucked away in a national forest, it's so peaceful. Loved walking around the lake and there was some outdoor music the night we stayed. The room is very basic and the wifi is spotty, but it was all that we needed. The food from the main lodge was really tasty!
