Wonderful dog walking areas including access by wooded trail to a UVA sports complex with a wonderful walking path. Great check-in and easy access to dog walk at the back of the property with waste stations. If you’ve got dogs you need to stay here.
We booked a studio room. The king bed was so comfortable! The sofa couch not so much (lol). It had a full kitchen. Very pup friendly. When you get there, they offer bowls and treats. Behind the hotel is a very long grassy area with two connecting trails to the Virginia University Park. We walked our two pups on the walking loops. It was a nice exercise. They also have tennis courts and baseball courts. It’s a nice change of pace from your average potty break areas. The hotel is near so many activities. My only complaint I have was a gentleman that was staying at the hotel was peeing outside. I contacted the hotel to let them know. I’m assuming they handled it.
After a 7 hour car drive with our pups this was a great stay ! Highly recommend-comfortable bed , kitchen amenities , pups felt at home - what more could we ask for . we will be back !
The place was very well run. Staff were professional above average. The area is also nice. Doggie area to walk outside hotel. 100 dollar pet fee extra.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with three adults and two dogs. The hotel and the location are great. There are a variety of restaurants close by. We appreciated the precautions for COVID19 taken by the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
