Ordered a queen, got two twin beds. After driving all day, was not in the mood to go in and change. Room was clean and comfortable.

Bad mattress. Crumbling drywall in shower. Fire alarm kept going off in the room from shower steam.

The reasoning behind my rating:
1) This property is old and dated
2) Room is cramped
3) TV was almost as old as I am
4) Still using Covid as an excuse not to offer a continental breakfast
5) Squeaky bed frame in the room above us reverberated through the ceiling
6) Location is almost on top of a busy highway and very noisy
7) And for an all time first in a hotel I ran out of hot water midway through my showerOn the positive side:
1) Room was clean

For the price I was expecting more of a motel experience. The rooms were small and clean. What else do you need?

No complaints at all about the Super 8 in Front Royal. The rooms for dogs have hard floors, and the $10/night dog fee is great. This was during covid restrictions, and the front desk person was wearing a mask. Call ahead to learn about their current covid precautions.

From the moment we arrived until we checked out the staff was wonderful. Super clean and conveniently located. Check out the huge dog park about 2 miles away, best I've ever seen.
