We had our dog Max with us. The beds were comfy and the air/heat was quiet. Breakfast was so so. The front desk clerk was doing that job and taking care of the desk as well. Dinner in Galax was really nice. Creek Bottom Brewery isn’t far from the hotel.

Convenient to the highway. Respectable breakfast. Room dated and A/C unit was super loud. Limited grassy area for pet needs and what is available is very steep.

Nothing extraordinary, but exactly what you expect from a Quality Inn. Easy in and out overnight stay, comfortable bed and a large room. Easy to take your dog out for quick bathroom breaks.

The good: The room was large and somewhat updated and the staff were friendly. The bad: There is very little green spaces for dogs to use and we did not find any green space designated just for pets. Our dog found pieces of dog food on floor near the wall by the bed. He most likely ate some before I could get to him. I got on the floor and picked up a handful of the dog food bits. The bed spread and sheets were clean but had several old stains and faded yellowing colors. We should have asked for another room, but we had a long day and just were not up to having to deal with the hassle.

Outside looks a little dodgy and had me worried, but the inside was nice. Mostly clean, found some stuff under the desk when we pulled the chair out.
Room location was nice and quiet which we appreciated. The door doesn't seal well, you hear everything that happens outside, but nothing happened except lots of rain.
AC makes a lot of noise and TV remote only worked half the time.

Room was clean. We were also able to park our cargo trailer close to our room. Bed was very comfortable with down pillows and comforter .
