Room could use a freshening, particularly the long in the tooth linens, and shower door seal, but other than that, it was clean, nice, and very convenient. And very pet friendly.

While driving from FL to NJ we stopped for the night. It was close to I-95 and very dog friendly. I didn’t feel like having my dog with me was an inconvenience. They have a dog walk area by the lake with poop bags and a trash can. The room was nice and clean (and I’ve become a hotel snob the older I’ve gotten). No carpet stains or weird smells. Also, there was a restaurant in the hotel that allowed us to order food and take it back up to our room. This was great considering COVID, and just general convenience. I would definitely recommend the Westin Richmond and hope to stay again in the future!

Pet fee included. High end hotel at a great price. Nice outdoor atrium you can bring out restaurant food and sit with your dog.

This was a nice upscale dog friendly hotel just a few short miles off 95. The gentleman at the reception desk was very welcoming and gave us a nice room on the 6th floor. No pet fee! The bar and restaurant were closed due to the corona virus but room service was quick, hot and delicious. I had a burger at night and a breakfast croissant sandwich the next day before departure. The entire staff was professional and helpful. Even got a poop bag dispenser to attach to the leash.

My grandmother and I are driving along the coast and have stopped in Westin hotels before. They are all amazingly staffed and clean. But this Westin has to be the best one yet. Their doggie walk is clean and there is no poo or muddy trails in sight. (A common thing in by the end of December on the east coast) the trail walks around a medium sized pond with fountain and doggie bags are in abundance. They even have a little sign to let hotel staff know your pooch is in the room. The hotel restaurant cooked up a hamburger patty for our little Sally. The pool was clean and the spa hot tub was great. One of the best nights we have had on this trip!
