The staff here are very kind and friendly to both people and dogs. Lots of grass around the hotel for walks. Got a treat bag when we checked in. Room was very expensive but not worth the cost. Reservation was nonrefundable and I chose the wrong one by mistake, same size room but called a family suite. My fault for choosing that but definitely not worth what we paid. Hotel is dated and needs some TLC in some areas. Beds were clean and comfy though.

Inn was conveniently located near highway and easy access to Burlington. Not a lot of areas around hotel to walk a dog due to heavily trafficked area but we drove to dog parks in Essex and Burlington that are 15 minutes away. Room was fairly small. We prefer Residence Inn for more space with pets. Staff was friendly but hotel was overrun with senior fall foliage bus tours from the south. We had to walk through huge groups of elderly people with our dogs and breakfast lines were long. Not the greatest timing for us. Hotel was relatively small so it seemed congested with large tour groups present. We liked that Costco and Starbucks and CVS were all close by. Hotel was clean and adequate for short stay.

This is a great place to stay. Minutes from downtown Burlington. Rooms were nice and staff was friendly.

For a last minute planning this hotel worked out great. I saw several guests with dogs and the pet friendly rooms are downstairs from the lobby with easy access to outdoor bathroom spots. Well done Hampton
