Howard Johnson by Wyndham Leavenworth welcomes two pets up to 100 lbs in designated rooms for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night. Guests with pets will be assigned to a Standard room with one King or two Queen beds. Standard King fireplace rooms are not pet friendly. Pets may be left in the room unattended if you leave a cell number at the front desk. There is green space adjacent to the parking lot that can be used for pet relief. Both dogs and cats are welcome. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

We had made the reservation on June 26, 2023. We reserved a suite that showed it was pet friendly and showed the pet policy upon confirmation of the reservation. Upon checking in, we mentioned the dog and we were told that they were not able to give us our room. We were downgraded to the basic average, non-descript, run of the mill room on the second floor. To make up for the inconvenience, we were not charged the $20 for the pet fee (great, thanks). There are so many other places to stay that are dog friendly in town, we will not be staying at Howard Johnson.
