  Awesome stay for pets

  Great stay for me and my pup! All the rooms are on the first floor with sliders to access the grass and walking path. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly and good breakfast. They didn’t charge me the pet fee as well! Would highly recommend.

  Great location and rooms

  Our room had a sliding glass door that opened directly onto the walking trail, which is 20 miles long. Clean, comfortable, and good location.

  Fabulous location

  This was a wonderful sty for us, the dog rooms have solid flooring, nice furnishings, and a fantastic view right on the river. There is a long paved pathway that follows the Yakima river for quite a distance, a great place to walk with your dogs. There were Canadian geese with their goslings, and a couple of herons out along the river. The hotel also had a great breakfast, it was the very best we’ve had in a long time at a hotel. Highly recommended.

  Perfect hotel for a dog

  Clean hotel with pet friendly Mexican restaurant right next door. So easy to walk right out your door to walk your dog next to the river. Great affordable basic hotel right off the highway.

  Perfect stay!

  This motel deserves six bones. The pet friendly rooms are on the first floor with sliding glass doors onto a nice green lawn with a view of a river, as others have mentioned. Perfect for a morning walk for both you and Fido. The room was spotlessly clean and cool (very summer hot outside!). Another bone for the fact it was quite reasonably priced.

  Exactly what we needed

  We needed a place to stop on a road trip with our baby and our dog and this place worked well for us. They didn't have any rooms left on the first floor but we got a second floor room near the stairs. Our room had a little porch overlooking the pool and river which our dog enjoyed. There is a lovely paved walking path along the river behind the hotel that was great for a long walk to stretch our legs.

  Great place for dogs

  Hotel was a little on the older side, but a fantastic place if you have dogs. Our room was clean, and had everything I needed… fridge, microwave, coffee maker, even free breakfast. For the dogs, it had vinyl flooring and if you’re on the first floor you get a slider to a nice grassy area and a walking trail along the river. There were people in the rooms next to me but I didn’t hear any noise at all. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay again if I am back in town with dogs.

  Best dog friendly hotel

  I don't know where to start! We normally stay in whichever hotel we want as I have a service dog, but on this trip we were transporting a Mexican rescue dog to her new home in Canada, so we required a pet friendly hotel. We were very surprised at the wonderful room we were assigned with a fridge, microwave and sliding doors to the dog area overlooking the river. No doggie poop on the grass that we could see. A lovely path runs along the river for walking. Friendly staff, great breakfast selection, and very convenient location just off the highway. We will definitely be back!

  Wonderful hotel

  Really nice room. Clean. Very friendly staff. We decided to stay an extra night, front desk advised us to go through BringFido to get a better rate. BringFido was again very helpful and wonderful in helping us with this. 1st floor has sliding glass doors that go out onto lawn, with nice walkway along river. I would recommend anyone, with or without pets to stay here.

  Great Stay

  We are on a cross country road trip. This was a last minute decision to stay here. Let me tell you, it was the best decision. Great location, very nice Mexican restaurant next door (dog friendly). Rooms were very nice and clean, and a very nice complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. 😊 What more could you ask for.

  The Baymont was very nice for us as well as our puppy. Nice shower. Two restaurants very close by both with takeout or dine in.

  Grass BEHIND hotel 🙃

  Had a hard time finding the grass, as we arrived after dark. They were out of rooms on the 1st floor. 2nd floor had a balcony where bars were too far apart to be safe for our pup.

  Bleached clean, smaller queen room, plank vinyl, no pet smells, friendly staff, breakfast to go. Plenty of grass and riverfront paved walkway.

  Nice room, plenty of grass to walk dogs. They have jar with dog biscuits on the counter. Will stay at this place again.

  "Paws Up"

  The room was large and clean. The staff was exceptional professional and friendly. Best feature was the grassy area and walking path on a green belt just outside the sliding glass door of the room! It was the best set up, by far, for our dogs that we encountered in our 6-day road trip.

  pretty perfect

  it was such a pleasant relief to stay here. They had such clean floors...sensibly using laminate instead of carpet. It was so easy to walk out the sliding glass door onto a grassy lawn and just yards away from the riverwalk trail. I had a peacefull night.

  Beautiful River View

  Wow, I wish we could enjoy this hotel and location a few more days. Opening the door to the room we were pleasantly surprised with wall to wall hardwood floors and crisp white bed linings. Our ground level room had a sliding back door that was yards away from a wide paved trail that lined the lovely rushing Yakima River. Breakfast was a plentiful spread consisting of fresh waffles, biscuits and gravy, pastries, yogurt, cereal, and other staples. There is a Mexican restaurant next door that serves huge portions, a playground and a Walmart .3 miles away. Absolutely everything we could ask for while traveling with a family and a dog!

  One caution * the Oxford Inn is now the Baymont by Wyndham Yakima. We booked on BringFido under Oxford Inn without any issue.

  You will love staying at this oasis!
