Loved this hotel. The hotel is very close to river. Room was very clean, bed so comfortable. Very quiet.

Though room appeared to be clean, the shabbiness detracts from that. Hotel in desperate need of renovation.

The staff was very nice and the continental breakfast boxes were lovely and well put together. The outdoor area for the dog was back behind the hotel up a set of stairs in an unlit area. I did not feel comfortable taking my puppy out there in the middle of the night. There are some small patches in the front of the hotel that we were able to use.

The pros: it was right where we needed to be, the price was okay (there is a pet fee, which we already knew), there was a mini fridge and microwave, and they did provide a generous bag breakfast. The cons: someone left a cup of what looked like synthetic marijuana under the bed, so of course our pet rabbit found it and we spent a few anxious hours worrying about him - he seemed just fine, which was a relief. The other "cons" were that the outdoor side door lock was broken so anyone could enter and exit without a key, and the parking lot is very awkward to enter and exit because of the position of the driveway on a steep hill. We would not return, but we only stayed one night, so it was okay.

Everything was great except the bath room. There were two light switches. There was a light for heat, a light for light and a fan. All of it was wired together so that when you turned on either switch you got heat, light, and fan without having a choice. If you used the basin to wash your hands you got really hot because the heat bulb was nearly directly over you with no may to turn it off. This type of wiring may not be up to code. Also the delivery from Dominos was hot and delicious, it was also a very quick delivery.
