  Best La Quinta Inn ever

  Very nice and clean. Joe at the front desk was very helpful and changed our room immediately upon learning about my wife’s upcoming hip surgery. I am definitely coming back to this hotel.

  Long in the tooth

  Old and worn out. No pet area. Not up to La Quinta brand standards.

  Just Ok

  The best part about this stay was that my dog and car were welcome. Upon arrival we found the area to be under construction. We were told our room was closest to the far end entrance of the building which was thoughtful. However, the outdoor lighting was poor, the 8” of snow had not been shoveled or removed from the entrance and we couldn’t tell where the ramp or walkway was and tripped on the curb. The sidewalk right in front of the door wasn’t cleared and once inside, you had to walk with wet snow covered boots on an already wet tile floor. The staff had not put down a mat until the morning after several guests complained of slipping. The room had an odor, the AC/heater made a buzzing noise throughout the night and the front cover was falling off of the unit, there were cracks on the walls in the bathroom, the lamp shades in the room had stains and rips. If it wasn’t 9pm and we hadn’t just driven 6 hrs we would have gone somewhere else.

  Our dog gives it one bone

  Zoe felt embarrassed that there was no pet area for her to do her business. She isn’t used to “going” in front of someone’s hotel window. Also, she thought management could have had the air conditioning working as it was too warm to sleep. Finally, though she is not prima donna, Zoe felt the hotel was sadly dated in facilities and decor. Hence her one bone rating.

  Fine for our needs

  Not as nice as some of the La Quintas we have stayed in, but it still fine. Nice pool and breakfast, staff was friendly, and there were plenty of other pet loving people staying there. And it WAS Casper Wyoming, after all. So not a large city. But we would stay there again.

  La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Casper

  Where do I start? The lobby was not very welcoming, the young man who checked us in was nice but not very welcoming. The hotel is very old and needs a major update. Our bathroom was dirty, there were black hairs in the tub and on the bathroom floor. The tub and toilet need replacing along with the shower surround. You cannot open the windows. There were cobwebs behind the curtains, the window ledges have at least 5 years worth of dirt in them. There was no actual "dog" area, unless you consider a filthy mud pit okay that is filled with rocks and waste. I am also wondering why they charge a pet fee when they do not clean their rooms or their parking lot. Wyndham should reconsider having this hotel in their portfolio along with BringFido. The breakfast buffet was also below standard for a Wyndham property.

  No pet areas

  Stayed at this La Quinta because I had a great experience at another location. There was no pet area for dogs, no bags to pick up after them. We found a used plastic fork under the table, there was used coffee bag still in the coffee maker. This was during our rush back to Canada for COVID 19, so we question their cleanlines. Otherwise bed was comfortable,staff was pleasant.

  Nice

  Got re-routed to Casper and was able to get into La Quinta Inn no problems. Room was fine, perfect for a quick one night stay. No area for dog to go potty or play but it was fine because didn’t stay long. Would stay again.

  Can not teach old hotel new tricks

  This is an old hotel. Small rooms. Will not stay here on my way back.

  Convenient, Nice Place.

  WE booked our room a day in advance and when we arrived they had no record of us booking. Took a few minutes but they were able to accommodate us and get us a king size room for 3 animals. Room has a weird set up bathroom wise but it’s spacious and clean. There’s a nice grassy area in front of the office, haven’t discovered If there’s a pet area yet. Free breakfast. Overall we had a good one night stay.

  Courteous staff but hotel was poorly maintained

  Room had a giant damp urine spot and multiple stains. Urine smell was pervasive and pungent when first entering room. Hallways were dirty and trash cans overflowing.
