Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Wilderness, WV

The Outpost New River Gorge Campground welcomes a maximum of two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $30 per night in Cabins. Dogs are not allowed to be left in cabins or tied up to campsites unless the owners are present.

Dogs are allowed at Mountain Lake Campground & Cabins, but they must be kept on a leash (6' max length) when outside your vehicle. A current vaccination record is required. No Pit-Bulls, Dobermans, Chows or Rottweilers. No pets allowed in or outside Rentals (Cabins/Campers). No loud barking or unruly behavior will be tolerated. Do not leave pets unattended. Hemlock Haven Cabins welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per night. Dogs are allowed in all cabins. There is a fenced area attached to every cabin.

Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse welcomes non-aggressive pets of any size for no additional fee in the tent area, and for $25 per pet, per night in cabins and on pontoon boats.

Hideaway Hills Primitive Camp allows dogs of any size for no additional fee. Pets cannot be left unattended at any time.
