East Coast Academy of Dog Training is located in Baltimore, MD. Training sessions take place at the owners' location and a free evaluation is offered to introduce the trainer and training objectives. East Coast Academy discuss problem behaviors that will be addressed and work with the dog/puppy to show pet owners how they will motivate and reinforce proper behaviors. Training can take place indoors, outside and out in public places. Clients are charged by session and estimations are given based on an evaluation of how many sessions your pet may need. A HUGE help!
As a first-time dog owner, I quickly became stressed out over the prospect of teaching my dog proper behaviors from big things like knowing to come when called or how to walk on a leash to smaller, but still important, things like sit/lie down/paw. Rob was an absolute lifesaver! It's clear that he not only knows what he is doing but that he also believes in both his method, my abilities as a dog owner, and my dog's intelligence. With practice in between sessions, my puppy was able to master the homework assigned to us each session and I am very happy with and proud of her progress. Rob is a natural and made me feel like a natural too! It doesn't hurt that my dog absolutely loves him as well.
