My Dog's Got Class
Adrienne Kepp, CPDT-KA, has been working with dogs for more than 20 years. She started out showing her beloved Golden Retriever Maxine as an active member of the Somerset County 4-H program. Knowing that she wanted to be challenged more, she started showing on a more competitive level and took Maxine through AKC sanctioned competition and worked her way up to a Companion Dog Excellence Title.
After taking a slight hiatus from dog training to become a New Jersey Licensed Optician, she regained her position in the dog world and started volunteering for Rogers' Rescues as a Foster home and to date has helped over 35 dogs find their forever families. She worked hard in many aspects of the rescue including transports, Post Adoptions and eventually sitting on the Board of Directors where she currently still holds a seat. But rescuing was not the final stop for many of these dogs and Adrienne decided to dive back in her training passion and began to work closely with Adrienne Carson and dive back in the training profession and work with many different dogs at Live and Learn dogs. After time, she sat for her test and attained her title of CPDT-KA.
When not training dogs or teaching classes, Adrienne still says involved with all aspects of rescue and occasionally tries to get away to the beach or take in more education to better her training knowledge.
