  The outdoor seating has plenty of shade and space. The iced coffee and food was good.

  Misleading. Bring Fido, just leave him outsidewhile you order?

  Wouldn't have thought about taking a dog with us to stop for ice cream, but to me the Bringfido sticker I had previously seen on the door implied a more-than-typical pet friendly environment, so we stopped with the dog while we were already out. It turns out the sticker was very misleading and no accommodations above the typical are made for your four-legged friends; just an invitation for them to wait outside in a small, uncovered "seating area" on the edge of a sweltering parking lot whill you order. It turns out Madison's is exactly as pet friendly as any Starbucks, Target or any local hot dog stand that really doesn't want your dog around, but admits that they legally need to make concessions for service animals. It is perfectly fine that they don't have a covered patio or a small portion of the two-room business sectioned off for dogs, but the typical "Service Animals Only" sticker on the door would be more representative of their underwhelming pet-friendliness.

  The food/drink is as expected, so I'm sure I'll be back, but at least I know not to bother stopping if it's just me and the dog in the car.
