  This is my second review I've written. The first was for a pizza place in Wildomar that I was hoping no one would have to experience what I went through that day.
  This time I'm writing to tell everyone how great Bella Sera Trattoria in Monrovia is. They have new ownership and it appears that the new owners are doing it right!
  My wife & I were looking for a place we could take our 7 Lb. terrier since we were not close to home and had no place to leave him. We found this place on "Bring Fido". When we arrived the hostess offered the front or back patio stating that the back patio was beautiful. She was right!. Old world style with a wine & food theme. An herb garden was planted around the patio in half wine barrels with a full wine barrel water feature.
  Water was brought to the table with an additional bowl of water for Rascal. The waiter provided some suggestions but said you couldn't go wrong, all dishes were fantastic!
  We decided to share the fried mushroom strips...called something like Bella Fritti's? They were salted just right to create the perfect flavor. We split the Caprese salad which was prepared in a traditional style. For the main coarse we went with the Beef short rib bolognaise pasta, It was also great! We topped it off by splitting the Tiramisu. It was a classic Tiramisu that tasted as if it was made from scratch that same day. It paired amazingly with a glass of Port. The service was great the food was great & they had a decent wine list. I really liked this place & will definitely go back again. With or without Rascal.
