    Vewry Dog Friendly Staff

We stopped by on Labor Day for a few beverages while we waited for our return ferry. Contrary to the description, I don't think it's limited to just 1 table with a dog, it is a little tight though, so it could be an issue if it got crowded. Luckily it was later in the afternoon, and most of the lunch rush had subsided. Service was very good, and our waitress, Darya, brought our dog water and milk bones. The whole staff was very nice and dog friendly.

Perfect spot for dinner with the pup!

We were shocked to be seated immediately on a Saturday in June, but there was no wait! They brought him a bowl of water and some raw carrots, while we were eating our dinner. The food and drinks were great too!

    Awesome food and dog friendly

They have a few tables that are dog friendly outside. It’s a tight patio- make sure your dog is well mannered. They have water out for our furry friends, but don’t be surprised with a wait if it’s busy. We usually go just off-season and have been lucky. Good public parking next to the town green- short walk away. This place has tons of character and great food. My husband and I particularly love their truffle fries! Cant beat the food and so thankful they’re cool with our furry friends.

Not dog- friendly. Obnoxious management with attitude

Showed up and requested a table outside for 2 and the “pooch.” The man acting like a manager obnoxiously asked what a pooch was, all of that with tons of attitude. Not quite promising.

Went there based on dog-friendly reviews, not to ask for a favor or make an exemption.

The hostess finally stepped outside, looked at the semi-busy patio with a few tables available and asks if we are willing to wait 45 minutes since only 2 tables out of entire patio inventory allow dogs....

Still don’t get why you’d make 10% of a patio space only dog friendly and not the entire space.

Advice to management: simply decide if your business is dog friendly or if it is not. It’s that simple and pretty straightforward.

    Great Place!

Second year in a row we came here during Peak season (July 5th) on a day trip. Sitting here and there are 3 tables with dogs so not sure bout that 1 Bone review person. It’s an extremely hot day but he patio is shaded and the breeze is hitting us. Make sure to stop by Good Dog Goods before!

Don't advertise as dog friendly if you're not

The key fact that's missing from all of these reviews is that the Offshore Ale Co only supports ONE dog friendly table, and it's not exclusively reserved for guests with dogs. When we arrived, we were informed of this, told it would probably be 30-40 minutes and that the hostess would text us when the table was ready. Over an hour later, we returned to ask how things were going, and were told that the party ahead of us had just ordered another round and showed no signs of leaving soon, but that the hostess would ask them if it was okay for our dog to sit near them. Although the hostess was trying to be helpful, it was at this point that we realized the party using the sole dog-friendly table didn't actually have a dog. We didn't stay, so I can't speak to the quality of the food or service, but Offshore Ale House shouldn't be posted on a site about dog-friendly restaurants. It's not.

    Great Place in Martha's Vineyard

We had heard this was a very popular place in Oak Bluffs, not far from where the ferry lands, so went for lunch on a day trip there last week - it was great - we sat outside in a pet-friendly area, & our puppy sat in my lap - we enjoyed salads, lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, etc. - am only giving this 4 bones because the beers were a little flat. I would have been perfect otherwise, would go back again in a minute!
