  Wouldn’t Seat Us

  I’m not sure what was going on but they assured us the patio was closed despite it being in the middle of the day and multiple other tables eating on the patio. Ended up having to find another place.

  Super dog friendly

  We had a great lunch yesterday. There were no shady tables free on the patio so they let us bring our pup inside. We'll definitely return.

  food is always great and they are dog friendly. The service can be iffy at times but the food is worth it

  Enjoyed the patio with our pup and the food was great. I had a small salad that was absolutely filling. We love coming to Truckee after a hike and this is a great spot

  Jax is a very nice diner, very friendly wait staff, and a very inviting patio outside with sun umbrellas overlooking the railroad tracks. For breakfast, be sure to try the Addiction, or the Huevos California. Delicious! We liked the restaurant so much we took our golden retriever back again.
  One caveat, do not be in a hurry. You are on vacation so relax!
