  Great place to bring your well behaved dog

  We love coming here after hiking. The staff love the dogs and will bring them a bowl of water. Live music and the food is always good. Lots of people bring their dogs so well socialized dogs are a must!

  Nice place

  Medicine Park is a resort town in a mountainous area. The town is built on the sloping hillside over a creek. The restaurant built around the trees and overlooks the creek - really neat. We took our 2-year-old mastiff (a lean 240lbs., no typo) on a day trip with us to the nearby wildlife refuge. We were quite welcome on the Riverside Cafe patio and they brought out a bucket of ice water for the dog. Labor day weekend there were a lot of people and other dogs on the patio. Everything went great! We enjoyed the blues music from across the street. The food was pretty good too, although it was heavily seasoned.

  Great food and location

  After hiking in Wichita wildlife refuge, we were looking for a place to eat where we could bring our dog. We ate on the patio and the server brought a bowl of water for our dog. We enjoyed the food and then a walk by the beautiful creek. It is located on Lake Drive in Medicine Park.
