My friend and I couldn't find anything on the website about Wag your tail Wednesday. We called ahead to make sure it was happening that day, and they confirmed it was.
There were no other dogs (which was fine with us as my dog & therefore us, would be more relaxed that way). The server did bring him water but there was not any kind of doggie menu or free dog entree. The server brought everything we ordered but just dropped things off and didn't check back. We got a flight of wine and he just dropped that with no description or anything. It didn't set our trip off to the best start, but was still relaxing. - AliciaOct 3, 2023Awesome Winery! Tasty Lunch!
We visited Oak Mountain Winery for lunch and wine tasting on 9-18-2023, our anniversary with our pup Peedy. We sat outside on the large patio. Our server was Elijah, and he was great.
Elijah was attentive and brought Peedy some water. We had a delicious lunch, then tasted a flight of red and white wine. The wine was very good, and we purchased a few bottles from Elliot. The patio had many other patrons there with fur babies enjoying lunch and tasting wine. Oak Mountain is definitely a dog friendly winery and I recommend taking your fur baby with you for a visit! - CaylaMore than a year agoGreat wine, great views!
The tasting room is small but I saw more dogs here than at the other two wineries we stopped at. There is an additional tasting area right outside under a large covered patio. There are three dog-influenced wines! There was live music too! I heard rumors of free dog treats but we didn't get any. Our pup had just had possibly the best lunch of her life at Carol's before heading up to this winery so we didn't ask about the treats. This winery is very dog friendly!
