I’m not sure how the restaurant experience would have been as we did a to go order after a long day at the beach. But I’m glad we did it was packed on a Sunday and I didn’t see it being very comfortable with a people loving pooch. We loved the pizza & wings. Cheesy bread was okay. Nothing to write home about. We got the base camp and it hit the spot. Wings come naked. Dipped in ranch and buffalo they were delicious. Lots of meat. Will order again. 4 stars because I can’t say how the experience would have been if we ate in house.

the pizza is just ok. We thought for a second it might have been frozen pizza. the service was great and they got us in quickly and even gave us a table with enough room for the dogs stroller

Basecamp Pizza and the others by the same partners (California Burger, Azul, akeside Beach Bar, X Crows BBQ, etc) all have the same familiar dog friendly DNA. Basecamp is a weekly visit for me, the live music is great. I alternate between the pepperoni pizza and the spaghetti, they have selection of craft beers, and they could not be more welcoming to my dogs. There are uncovered tables in the sun, but my favorite is the roofed outdoor Cove area. My type of inclement weather I head here or x Crows covered patio with my 2 large but very well behaved dogs. Super friendly staff, most of which are dog fanatics. They all seem to truly enjoy working there, and that carriers over onto their treatment of the customers. I highly recommend you check out Basecamp and the other restaurants by the same owners.
