Where to begin? Phoenix had a blast! But he had to bring his wallet. Sushi was fabulous! We ate at the bar and our servers were Sooo nice. The view is fab and it is so nice to have a place in the Point/Manasquan area where Phoenix can dine with us. Especially since he is paying the tab!

We had a lovely meal here on the deck. Great service. Waitress was sure to offer fresh water for our pup. We will be back!

At this restaurant, the customer is NEVER right. Especially if JOANNE is your server. The most unprofessional, condescending and immature middle aged waitress I have ever met. I called ahead to check if there was a wait and I was told there was not, and we could be seated right away. By that, the restaurant meant they had empty tables and we would wait 20 minutes before even being served water. When we did get drinks, we were disappointed to find out that out of 3 of our meal orders could not be accommodated because they had already “ran out”. Once we finally ordered, we waited over an hour before asking if the food would be much longer. The waitress, Joanne, immediately responded with a connescending attitude to my 75 year old grandmother. Instead of responding apologetically and just offering to check on the meal, Joanne mocked my grandma with a “whiney” tone and blamed it on the restaurant being “swamped” when there were only 5 full tables of people in the entire restaurant. Once the meal did come, Joanne’s attitude only progressed. She no longer respnded to any of my family member’s requests with respect, she stopped saying “you’re welcome” altogether, and never came back to check how our meal was or if we needed anything else. When it came time to ask if anyone wanted anything wrapped, Joanne would not even ask my grandma if she wanted her plate (which was still full of food) wrapped to take home. When my grandma asked if she could have her meal wrapped, Joanne was so immature that she sent to hostess over to grab and wrap my grandma’s plate. We asked the hostess why she came over to grab the plate and she responded that Joanne had asked her to do so, so that she did not have to come back to our table. We asked to speak to the manager to explain our disappointment in the customer service of the wait staff and we were met with more defensive excuses from him rather than apologies. After the manager went to speak to Joanne, she came back to our table to throw what can only be described as a childish temper tantrum before running over to the hostess to gossip about us while we were sitting five feet away. If waiting 2+ hours for your back up meal choice on the menu, getting mocked by the wait staff and and being whispered about like you’re in high school is your idea of a good time, head on over to Waypoint for that “ideal” dining experience.

This is a local favorite. Really nice that I can bring Aspen my Maltese. We have a lot of fun there.
