- JenineApr 6, 2024Great doggo friendly spot with a view
Highly recommend this spot for you and your fur baby! Beautiful view of the river. The staff were great and acknowledged the fact we had our doggo. I always bring a water bowl for my doggo and they gladly gave me water to fill it up. Food was delicious but I do wish they had just a plain chicken breast I could have ordered for the doggo. Over all a great experience.

Awesome restaurant, great food and service, very pet friendly!!! Definitely recommend!
- StevenSep 17, 2022Nice nice location overlooking the river
This was a nice restaurant. The best part was the patio that overlooked the river and the fact that we could bring our small dog with us. The gumbo was good, fries were good, the mini-meat pies were good, especially with the remoulade sauce. The Po-Boy…not so much. They brought the bread, shrimp and toppings separate so that my wife had to make her own. This is not the way we’re used to. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Place was quiet and attractive.
- JenniferFeb 9, 2022Great restaurant
The patio seating was closed due to a pending storm (which never did appear). They let us sit there with our dogs and have carry out, with another patron and her dog! They brought the dogs water bowls and were so accommodating!
- PauloNov 19, 2021Excellent atmosphere, good service and food
It was Friday night, 7:45pm and a short wait outside to be seated. That’s a good sign of a popular place and it did not disappoint.
Staff team is really good, happy and friendly. A band playing live music at the right volume level made for a great atmosphere.
Menu choices are great, offering Louisiana expectations and some interesting items.
To drink they had a Christmas Margarita (cranberry, delicious) and a Chocolate Mint Martini (sweet, great after dinner liquid dessert)
The warm artichoke dip was lovely. Chicken Parmesan excellent. Crawfish Monica Pasta was absolutely fantastic.
The side salad I had was ok after I removed far more “past their best” leaves than should have been possible. Now really, did someone just not have their glasses on because I could never send salad like that to a customer… it was only $4 but brown or mushy dark green leaves go in the trash, not in a salad bowl! The salad came with an in house made dressing and I ordered blue cheese; it was a little runnier than expected but definitely fresh and tasty.
Overall I recommend going here. I’d recommend to friends or family. It’s fun, really lovely staff and tasty food and beverages. And I bet the patio area is awesome in the summertime.
They did have patio heaters on the evening we were there too - in fact if I was managing the place I would turn them off when nobody was near them and maybe try to have one on as a place for any new customer to sit. That would save a few dollars and be “green”.
Good place. Definitely visit if you can.

I would highly recommend this place!! - KathyDec 26, 2019Fabulous Dining on Cane River
We just had a wonderful after-Christmas dining experience on the Cane River with all the lights along the Cane River shining brightly! The food was delicious and the servers never skipped a beat when we requested a patio table with our fur baby. We were given an excellent table on the water and the service was great. Enjoy the season here or enjoy the Cajun hospitality anytime of the year here!
- KarenSep 2, 2019Excellent Location To Dine With Dog
Enjoyed our dining experience with our girl!
- CocoAug 17, 2019Not Dog Friendly
1) It’s a nice view but the staff is not dog friendly, ie no water, food, etc. 2) The food is expensive, small portions and not that great. 3) We arrived at 3:55pm and was seated in a nice shady table on the patio. When our drinks and appetizers came, the waiter informed us that the whole patio was reserved at 4:30 and we had to move. Our only option was a table in the sun and it was very uncomfortable. The strange thing is that 4:40 a group of college students arrived, had a quick meatball and left in less that 10 minutes. The bad thing is the manager or hostess never apologized to us.
