  We love Cafe Nouveau! We are Ventura locals and love the patio! The staff is awesome & loves pups so Tootsie always has a fabulous time!

  Excellent breakfast spot with great food and lovely patio. Very popular with locals and can fill up quickly on weekends. Staff is very prompt and accommodating.

  Excellent from head to tail!

  We were traveling South and stayed in Ventura overnight, had breakfast on Sunday morning at Cafe Nouveau with my 5-month-old labradoodle pup (Jasper) and 2 kids. They gave Jasper a bowl of water with our drinks. The ambiance of the place was amazing; we sat in the patio where there was a good amount of shade and beautiful plant life. The service was extraordinary, they treated Jasper like he was one of us. I ordered some cut-up chicken breast for Jasper and he thought it was delicious! My kids had the eggs and chorizo, I had the eggs ranchero (eggs benedict with a tamale in lieu of the english muffin) and we all shared the green tea tiramisu pancakes— all of it was delicious and we pretty much inhaled it all, lol! We don’t live too far from Ventura, so next time we’re in town, we know where to go to eat!

  Great Food, Great Service

  We went here this morning for breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. They brought our dog a bowl of fresh water as soon as we sat down (without us asking). They offered us delicious mimosas and bacon with maple glaze beignets. The beignets alone are worth the visit. We ordered (and shared) the chicken fried steak and eggs benedict. As if the food isn't enough reason to go, the service was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, the staff was very attentive, and of course it was great ambiance all around. We are already planning to go back soon.

  The food is great and plentiful and the patio is relaxing and a really nice place for dogs. Plan on a long wait on the weekend but it's worth it!

  first of all the food is very good! The outside patio is very cute very cozy like a garden. There service is also very good and very friendly. They offered our dog water right away.

  We love this place and so does our dog! Food is great, lots of shade on the patio and the owner now greets us personally each time.

  Couldn't be better!

  I loved the patio here. We went at dinner time, and it was very quiet. It was the first time I had gone to a restaurant, being just 3 months old, so it was the ideal place for me. The people at Cafe Nouveau were very friendly and brought me a bowl of water.

  The human food looked fine, with a varied menu and low-moderate prices. Plus, they had Green Flash on tap, which really impressed the humans.

  A perfect puppy experience!

  Best Breakfast Ever!!!

  Don't pass this restaurant up. They make their own blueberry corn muffins and syrup for pancakes & waffles. I cannot say enough about this cuttie. Darling patio and so good with our dog. Don't miss this one for sure!!!!
