The dog-friendly Texas Cattle Company cooks all their dry aged steaks over Florida citrus and real oak to create a smoky, rich flavor that's not to be missed. Before chowing down on the meaty main course, warm up the appetite with fried green tomatoes, bang bang shrimp, and crispy Florida gator bites. Hearty entrees include filet mignon, cattle baron ribeye, Kansas City bone-in strip steak, double cut pork chops, cedar plank salmon, and monster lobster tails. If there's room for dessert, a slice of red velvet cake or deep dish apple crumble pie makes a sweet finisher to the meal. Dogs can sit with their owners in the covered outdoor eating area. Texas Cattle Company opens at 5pm Monday through Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

The outdoor patio is a perfect spot to view Lake Mirror, eat a great steak, and chill. The wait staff was so accommodating to us and our puppy, an eight month old labradoodle. Nice night out.
