    Burning Brick Tavern serves classic American pub grub in a casual hole in the wall eatery with dog-friendly outside seating in the heart of downtown Pickens. Patrons can feast on menu favorites like potato skins, crab cake salad, turkey BLT wraps, reubens, kickin' chicken sandwiches, bacon chili cheeseburgers, popcorn shrimp, crunchy fried wings, and for dessert, churros and Oreo cheesecake. Complement the meal with house wine, draft or bottled beer, and signature cocktails. Outdoor tables are limited, so call ahead to ensure seating with Fido is available. Burning Brick Tavern is open from 11am to 11pm Monday through Thursday, 11am to 2am Friday, 3pm to midnight Saturday, and is closed Sundays. Visit Website

      Great Food - Not A Dog Friendly Environment

      We chose Burning Brick Tavern because Bring Fido said dog friendly and it also happened to be highly rated for their food. The outdoor seating where dogs are allowed is a small concrete slab with four chairs and a coffee table. It isn’t an acceptable place to have a meal with your dog. We ended up taking the dog home and coming back for a very tasty lunch. We give it three bones because the food was really good, but leave your dog at home.
