nice ambiance and very dog friendly. great wagu burger but the fish was not the best. clam chowder had great flavor but in the thin side. four bones only because it’s dog friendly

Arrived at the patio. The food smelled great. Ordered drinks, but when outside.. our dog had a really hard time with the noise from the airport. A large plane flew low overhead and we had to leave.
Will try again without the dog later. The staff and people were nice to let us cancel our order. We have a rescue, so we are still figuring out what she can handle, and what she can't. - LeahJul 23, 2021Great food, very dog friendly
The food here was amazing with great accommodations for dogs. Dogs are allowed on the patio and must be on leash or in a carrier. They seated us off to the side so that our pup was against the wall but had plenty of room to stretch his legs and eat his food. Staff was friendly and attentive. 10 out of 10

I've visited Tarpy's a number of times now for lunch and dinner both with and without Fido. First, be prepared for slow service in general, but extra slow of you're outside with Fido (the worst service is dinner with Fido). They have heaters, which is especially nice at night. However, I'm pretty certain they forgot about us during dinner service more than once (they even had the lights turned off initially). Tarpy's in general is over priced (and the food is average at best and on the salty side). The interior ambiance is great (like going to someone's house-very cozy and a nice place to host a group or special occasion in one of their rooms/spaces). The outdoor seating (dog friendly) ambiance is great on a nice/sunny day, especially for lunch when they have all the tables/umbrellas open in the patio. It's less special for dinner outdoors. You pay more for ambiance/location than food/service. They do have a dog menu, which is a nice touch. I'd say bring Fido for lunch, but maybe find somewhere else for dinner or be prepared to have a long/patient dinner with lot of you and Fido time on the patio (no music).
