  Great food!

  We immediately got sat on the patio. Our server opened the gate for my husband and dogs. The food was really good! They make their own BBQ sauce. It was soooo good! They also made some chicken breasts for our dogs. They brought out some for them as well. Please note: they did not bring us a dog water bowl, we had our own collapsible bowl.

  Dog friendly patio

  We went to enjoy an early dinner out on the patio with Teddy. perfect time of day. we ordered several different things & enjoyed boneless wings, bacon wrapped brisket, sweet potatoes & hot pretzels with beer cheese. all was fabulous. Alisha was a great server.

  They treated Roxy like royalty.

  the staff and our waiters absolutely spoiled Roxy with fresh water and plenty of pets. The food is amazing as well.

  Great food and great staff!

  Great bar-b-q and kind, personable staff. A wonderful place to bring your dog while people watching the other tourist in Pigeon Forge.

  So thankful for them

  I'm fairly new to traveling with my pup and found Calhoun's to be very pet friendly. The hostess Tasha was great helping me since I travel alone and the server was great as well. Thank you for pet friendly!

  Very pet friendly!

  We always stop here while in Pigeon Forge. The wait staff and manager are always so attentive! Even when it’s cold outside! Oh, and the food is fabulous!

  Great place

  We have always loved Calhoun’s and are happy to find one location is dog friendly. The waitress was very nice and asked us when she took our drink order of the dogs would like a water bowl. She brought out their bowl with our drinks. The food was great as well.

  Very nice time!

  Went for lunch and we sat outside. Waiter was very nice. Little man shared some bread, chicken and sweet potato with mama. Waiter said my boy was very well behaved :)

  Can eat with Dog

  Nothing special. Had to ask for water bowl. Waitress did want to do anything extra. I dont understand these "pet friendly" restaurants never offer water bowls have to ask.

  Disappointed

  For the 2nd time in 2 months, we were shown to the pet friendly patio and totally ignored. The restaurant was not busy. The food here is good if you can actually order it

  Delicious BBQ

  Food was delicious. I had the brisket dinner and my husband had the 1/2 rack of ribs dinner. They serve so much meat, enough for leftovers for the next day! Our server, Chandler, was wonderful. He was continuously making sure we were taken care of and that we had everything we needed.
  Chandler was also very attentive to Milo, “our main dog”. Chandler made sure he had plenty of water while we were there. The patio is very clean and comfortable. we enjoyed the view of the amusement park next door.
  Next time we are in Pigeon Forge, we’re definitely stopping in.

  Friendly Staff

  they dudnt gave anyone assigned to the outdoor area but they made an exception for us. they put umbrellas up and brought water out for the dogs. it was very warm so we ate half our food and left. good wax yummy.

  Great food and friendly staff!!

  This was our first time eating at a Calhoun's. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly! We sat on the patio and watched people at Paula Deen's Lumberjack show and adventure park. They even brought our pug Garrett his own water bowl!! Will go back for sure!

  Excellent!!!

  We really enjoyed Calhoun’s. The food was delicious and our waitress didn’t mind at all about us being on the patio. The hostess let us walk through the restaurant with our fur baby and everyone was friendly.

  AMAZING!!!!!

  we were blown away by the kindness shown to us and our fur baby, basset hound. we had dinner on a Sunday night and she was treated like any other guest, not like a dog! I was especially impressed with Tasha and our waitress (I didn’t catch her name 😔). we will definitely be back! we have always loved this place but this was our first visit with a dog, it was wonderful!

  Great Food

  Food was great, husband really enjoyed the brisket. Server was great, we took our yorkie and we talked about the yorkie he had rescued. patio was nice, we enjoyed watching the action at the zip line and free fall next door

  Cash @ Calhoun’s

  Great supper at Calhoun’s!!! They welcomed us with our pet “Cash”, brought him some water and made him feel at home. we had the chicken wings and ribs, both were great!!! Patio was comfortable, all was well!!! Will definitely be back!!!😎

  I Tried

  STopped here in January. Walked in and never got waited on. Finally someone asked me if I needed anything and I asked if we could eat outside with our dog. They said No. even if I don’t have my dog next time I’ll Never go back.

  Excellent Food With Lovely Large Patio

  We ate at Calhoun’s on our way out of town headed home. We started with the pretzels and beer cheese which were massive and so tasty. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband loved the hickory burger. We were offered water for our pup which was so nice. Had the large patio to ourselves for most of our meal. Patio isn’t covered but about half the tables have umbrellas. The barbecue was so so tasty! We wished we had ate there twice while we were in town.

  Great Service

  We took our2 chihuahua dogs in a stroller and they seated us on the patio. They offered water for the dogs and attended to us quickly. It was lovely on the patio and we had the entire patio to ourselves. The manager came out and talked to us about our home town in Tucson, Az. This is a great spot and excellent food!

  Nice Dog Friendly Patio

  Welcoming patio just off the Parkway where you can dine with your dog. Although we travel with a collapsible water bowl the restaurant had one by the gate if your dog needs a drink.

  Great Overall Experience

  We went there today for lunch and had a wonderful time. After reading the last review, we called ahead to make sure their patio was dog friendly and had no issue getting seated with our little dachshund, who is definitely not a service dog. The patio is not covered, but they do have umbrellas for shade. The waitress was very friendly and brought out water for the pup. If you go, definitely try the spinach Maria!

  They are service dog friendly not “dog” friendly. When I called they were pretty snotty about me confirming this with them.

  Perfectly pet friendly

  Visiting from out of town and couldn’t have found a better place to grab some lunch. A quiet little enclosed patio that accepts dogs. Our waitress, Hannah, was fantastic. Food is great with an even better and friendly wait staff. Definitely recommend and will be back next trip.

  Absolutely hit it out of the park with our pups. The staff immediately greeted us with dog bowls and several loved on our pups while we engorged in delicious food.

  The staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. Our chocolate lab got lots of love and attention from the staff, especially the manager. They brought him out a bowl of water before we asked. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  Can't go wrong with Calhoun's

  When my wife insisted we bring our 7 month old AM Staff with us to the Pigeon Forge Fall Rod Run, I expected to settle for greasy fast food for supper that night. I searched Google for dog friendly restaurants in the area, trying to avoid McDonald's, and not expecting to find any. I was relieved when I saw Calhoun's on the list as it is one of our favorite spots to eat when we're in the area. Everyone was friendly as always, two of the managers even came outside to bring Ranger some water and to check on him while we were eating.
  Calhoun's has always been high on our list, but after yesterday's experience, they just moved up a few notches!
