The severs were wonderful and immediately brought out a bowl of water for my dog. I ordered chicken for him as well and he loved it! Would visit again.

Really great food and our dog loved it. They brought her water and were very sweet to her. We ate on the front patio and she loved being able to people watch and see other dogs as they walked by! We brought her dinner and treats with us and there were no issues.

- AndrewAug 9, 2020Very Dog Friendly!
Without asking our server brought out ice water for our mini golden doodle. She then asked if we wanted some chicken for her. Best dog friendly restaurant ever!
- MatthewAug 26, 2019Friendly And Delicious
The Elbow Room was a great spot for us and our Shelties on an early Monday evening in late summer. The server was attentive, and actually couldn’t resist giving Ainsley a scratch behind the ears. The sidewalk is just far enough from the inside row of tables so our charismatic doggies could be seen without being touched involuntarily by passers by. Huge bowl of water and overall just a normal place to sit with two dogs.

Get a life Linda, this is not the website for you to complain about WeHa’s strict town ordinances!!
- AdeleMay 4, 2019Great service for dogs!
The restaurant greeted us at the door as we were sitting down at the patio. There was already a bowl of water waiting for my dog, even on a rainy day the waiter was excited to be serving a dog and its human. The owner or manager then came out and politely asked if Guinness could have chicken, after learning Guinness is allergic he brought out pot roast, a heaping coffee mug full of pot roast and fed her some as well as left some.
The food was also great, and the service was also good for a rainy day. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Connecticut again! - AmandaMore than a year agobeautiful afternoon
Friendly owners and all dogs welcome., even our 2 giant English Mastiffs (that tip the scales at over 300 pounds combine). Totally cool and chill atmosphere. Food was Outstanding! Everything was so yummy and Amazing!!! My fav place by far so far
- EricAug 4, 2018Awesome place - great owner
Our 11 month old black labs first time eating out in a restaurant and we couldn't have chosen a cooler place. We sat outside at a very comfortable table the server brought out a bowl of ice water right away and was totally loving on our dog. The owner came out a few minutes later with a mug full of boiled chicken that he hand-fed him. Will definitely be back. The food was awesome as well.

Excellent menu variety to bring entire family: children and adults (and Bentley!)
The management seated us outside. Before we were even sitting, someone brought a big bowl of ice water for Bentley and before long, manager was down on one knee hand feeding him chunks of boiled chicken. Caring. Helpful. Excellent service for humans too.
The interior was decorated quite nicely too, but we sat outside because of dog and it was 80° and sunny.
Eat here! You won’t regret it! We are coming back soon! Worth the trip.

Very dog friendly! The owner brought out water and chicken for all the dogs on the patio. The human food is also high quality at a great price. We’ll be back!

This place has fantastic food, great value, large servings and is dog-friendly. I traveled to Hartford, CT on business with my dog and partner. We looked for dog-friendly places and even called around and many places won't even let dogs on the patio. This restaurant (and whole street/small neighborhood) is very dog-friendly!! This place has delicious food. I recently told my partner that it's funny how we used to look at "foodie" places and right "foodie" reviews - now we just look for dog friendly places LOL it's nice that this place is both!!

We were very welcomed on the patio... staff brought put a bowl of water and treats for our dog. We moved here from a dog-friendly city in Texas and miss being able to bring our pup with us - we'll definitely be dining on the patio again!
- NancyMore than a year agoExcellent Food & Service
This place is extremely dog friendly they bring a bowl outside with ice for your dog. There's also several people that always have a dog by their table as well. So you feel like you're in the right place having a nice lunch or dinner with your dog. The food and service are excellent. We highly recommend this place. It's also nice to go for a walk around the town after dinner as there are alot of shops, restaurants and ice cream places around.
- CiaraMore than a year agoAmazing experience!!!
They gave us a table with a metal loop to tie the leash to. Our Berner was treated like a king. A huge water dish with water and ice (a very hot day). Then the manager offered some plain chicken and we ok'd it. He came out and finger fed our pup cooked chicken chunks. The staff was super friendly. Food was great. Highly recommend!!!

Great experience today. After walking my puppy to the center I wanted to stop for a drink. After all it's Friday and it was just before 5pm so was happy hour time. I actually stopped and sat at McLaddens and was told I had to order food, not just a drink on their outside seating. Of course they wouldn't let me inside with the puppy, so quite annoyed I just went down to Elbow room. I asked if I could order a drink in the out door area and was told "of course"! I was also offered water and out the waiter came with water and beer for me and an iced water bowl for the puppy. Elbow room now has my business and McLaddens if off my list!

We brought our boxer Daisy to the Elbow Room for dinner and ate outside The manager immediately came to greet her and brought her her own bowl of water filled with ice cubes. The wait staff all were dog friendly and could not have been more accomodating. Food and service thumbs up. Will definately return. We were made to feel very welcome with our dog.
