We went for the first time last week and brought her small dog with us. They have a large outside patio with fans and umbrellas. They were very friendly to our dog. We enjoy restaurants that have an outside area this time of year.
Food, service, and drinks were great, we will be back! - JameeJan 2, 2019Awesome Service!
Was very attentive to my pup and kept his water bowl filled. He had a great time, and the food was awesome!

We ate here last October when our Little Man was still just a nugget! Fabulous foods, great service and a nice patio.
Tables were spread out enough that our Nikolai couldn't disturb the old pup nearby. Also, enough room that tails don't get stepped on and pups don't trip up the wait staff.
A must stop with your pup in Dunedin.🐕💜 - KarinFeb 19, 2018Delicious!
Thre was a huge Art Fair in Dunedin the day I stopped here. My dogs and I were hot and exhausted, and when I saw other dogs on the patio, I hurried over to the Smokehouse. We were fortunate enough to get a tale in the shade near a strong fan - heaven! The busboy immediately poured some water into a container I provided. It was too hot for a heavy meal, so I got the Cobb salad with some pulled pork added to it. The salad was tasty, and I enjoyed tasting the three different BBQ sauces that were on the table. There was enough food for me to take home some in a box. The server mentioned their pecan pie was homemade, so I ordered it. I was delighted I took her suggestion as it was excellent and served with two scoops of ice cream!

Good food, good prices. Large patio area to accommodate your 4 legged pal. My dog got service before me they brought water for him before my order was taken.

Loved the food, but neither it nor the coffee were hot (and supposedly the coffee was freshly made). Cold, windy weather dampened our spirits. Our dog loved the corned beef and so did I. We could not be moved and the space heaters were out of propane. It was a long wait for our food with the explanation: "We had a large party inside and they got the food." Will try another place next time. Five bones for the food, two for the service, and one for the atmosphere (nothing to see here).

Good food and pet friendly. Excellent BBQ food and full bar set in a relaxing atmosphere. They have a large patio area that is partially covered which is great for shade or a light drizzle. The pulled pork, cornbread with sweat potato butter, and Mac and cheese are my favorites.

Some people were confused because the Dunedin Smokehouse relocated just two blocks away! Now located right on the quaint little downtown strip of Main Street They have ample parking in the rear of the building. This new location boasts and even larger family and pet friendly patio, some of which is awning covered! Live music is normal on Friday and Saturday evenings. Full liquor bar and several craft brews both on tap and bottled. The menu is delicious from simple appetizers, to sandwiches and full-blown meals. This is no "Sonny's". Everything is original from smoked sausages and smoked brisket right to ribs and even smoked Rainbow Trout! We live here and go frequently. I have never had a bad meal and the service is always accommodating. Meal prices range from $8 to $17. Water bowls for Fido, and Corn Hole for the Kids or all ages.

There is still a restaurant in this location, and it is very dog friendly. It is now The Dunedin Smokehouse. We miss La Maison Gourmet, but welcome the BBQ restaurant as a great replacement - we go there often with our two Beagles.
