Taste of Italy on the Lake
Perched alongside Lake Hawkins, Taste of Italy by the Lake is a dog-friendly restaurant serving its famous homemade tomato sauce to locals and tourists alike. Taste of Italy has several outdoor tables available for dog owners wanting to dig into a plate of Fried Calamari alongside their canine companion. The Italian restaurant's menu includes appetizers, salads, chicken dishes, veal dishes, pasta, seafood specials, house specialties such as Spaghetti Sausage, Capellini Primavera, and Lobster Ravioli, homemade pizza, sandwiches, a soup of the day, and more. Diners with room for dessert can indulge in a Cannoli, Cheesecake, or Tiramisu. Taste of Italy by the Lake is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10pm and Sunday from 11am to 9pm.

The food was great. The view was amazing but sadly they don’t want you to bring Fido. Because we came at an off hour with no others seated on the patio we were able to bring the dog and they were really nice about it. Definitely try out this restaurant.
