      Not very dog friendly

      We drove out of Cheyenne to visit with our dog based on previous reviews. The restaurant is not dog friendly. They do have outdoor tables but do not service them. No dogs are allowed inside. Suggest your time is better spent elsewhere.

      Outside Cheyenne but great camping spot

      We camped here with our dog and really enjoyed it. We had a truck top tent so was put in an open area vs an actual spot. It was kind of secluded from others which was nice. They have a little shop and a restaurant on site which were dog friendly. The restaurant was a little slow when we went so they allowed us to bring our dog inside and even gave him a bowl for water. We would definitely stay again!

      Plan to spend some extra time here to explore!

      This place is so cool! At least a dozen picnic tables outside. An outdoor grill. A campfire ring. There’s an rv park onsite so there’s a cute general store set up like an old west town.
      You can walk on the catwalk above some of the animal enclosures - we saw a baby bison, horses, mules, donkeys, llamas, and goats.
      We got there too late to take the train ride through the ranch (though I doubt the train is pet friendly - apparently the bison sometimes walk right up to the train), but it looks like a really cool option if you have someplace safe to leave Fido.
