      friendly neighborhood cafe

      This restaurant is in adorable downtown Montrose. It is right across the street from Andersen's Pet Shop a very friendly pet store that carries quality items. The owners also also run Glendale Humane Society and they are very friendly, helpful, down to earth people. Star Cafe has great food (we had breakfast for lunch: creamy grits and sausage) and someone came out and brought our dog a bowl of water without us even asking. I would visit again. ????
