    Waterdog Tavern, located in Belmont, CA, is a trendy gastropub that serves up a variety of delicious drinks and tasty grub. Start off with a cold beer and an order of the Chicken Wings - one pound of wings in your choice of Classic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, or BBQ. Next, chow down on the Red Wine-Braised Short Rib with white cheddar, sage soft polenta, sauteed wild mushrooms, beef demi-glace, and crispy onion rings. Or go for the Carlmont Burger - a grass-fed patty topped with cheddar cheese, Hush Hush sauce, tomato, butter pickles, shredded iceberg, and caramelized onions on a toasted brioche bun, with or without spicy mustard.       Restaurant is Dog Friendly Not The Mall Owner

      Water DOG Tavern is a great place to bring your dog but beware of the Mall security and owner because they are not so dog friendly. There is plenty of parking and the patio is huge and has lots of seating. I love the brunch menu. It is nice to have a full bar to order from at brunch. I ordered the eggs Benedict with crab cakes but the crab cakes were kind of dry but everything else I have ordered has been very good. They have a great selection of wine and beer too.
      I just don’t recommend walking your dog around the mall because you may get harassed by the mall’s security and the mall’s owner.

      Great food and great for dogs!

      They have a beautiful & serene outdoor area that is 100% dog friendly and they have amazing food & drinks!

      Very Dog Friendly

      Large outdoor dining area where dogs are welcome. Good food, nice vibe outside. Note that the outside menu is a subset of what’s available inside, and mostly wine and beer from the bar. Great brunch!
