We stopped on a cold day today and were welcome to bring our Golden inside where the atmosphere was great and a fireplace was cheery and warm. The service was great and friendly. They brought a water dish and treats for our dog and offered her chicken with rice.
The menu for humans was interesting with some Asian fusion included. I had Nasi Goreng and Indonesian fried rice with Shrimp that was delicious. My husband had the Brisket sandwich which looked yummy also, it was served with curly fries. He loved it.
We didn’t try the beer because we were driving but definitely plan to stop here again. - CurtisSep 20, 2023Great food and pretty good beer.
We chose to eat here because I always like a good brewery, and we had our dog with us. We assumed we'd have to eat on the patio, but they seated us inside, just off the patio entrance. I had the rattlesnake brat with fries and my wife the wedge salad, and we also had the house made chips. Our server was super helpful and attentive. I can't really say my brat tasted any different than a regular one, but it was delicious, as were my fries and the house chips. My wife wasn't completely thrilled with her salad, but I don't understand ordering a salad when in Custer. It just seems wrong. The beer selection was large, but as a hazy or imperial IPA guy, it wasn't quite my cup of tea. Both of the lagers I had were good though.
- LynnSep 14, 2023One of the best places
So accommodating for people with pets. it was a chilly day when we arrived at this place. Thinking that we would have to sit outside as most places have you do with pets, but no, this place allowed us to come inside to their warmth and their hospitality, and allowing our Missy to be with us as we enjoyed great food and great beer.
- MelzSep 13, 2023Large Patio
Food was good. Beer selection is decent. their own beers are okay nothing to really write about. the patio is large and partially covered. they will provide water bowl and give your pup treats!! they are super dog friendly and will spoil your dog. lol my dog started associating the server with treats bc each time she came by she dropped off treats for the pup.
- TimSep 12, 2023Great puppy place

- DeanJul 18, 2023Great all around!
Good food, good beer, great service, and very dog friendly. Water and big dog treats served to Pippin immediately on arrival. He enjoys the VIP treatment!
- MelissaJul 13, 2023Visit after a hike with the pups
We stopped here after hiking in Custer Park with our two pups. We sat on the deck. The staff brought us out a bowl of water for the pups and cold beers for us that we had along with ginormous nachos that were so filling and tasty. Great stop for pups, beer, and food!

we just went there and sat for 20 minutes with no server. went inside and asked if we were ever going to be waited on. Finally got a server, then waited another 15 minutes for our drinks, then again for our meals. Food wasn’t bad, but service was terrible!
- CindyJun 26, 2023Great beer and food
Dog friendly patio. Very friendly staff and customers. We enjoyed our beer and dinner. They brought our dog a large water bowl and treats (twice!).
- MelanieJun 17, 2023Best patio with pups
both the front and back patios are dog friendly. our kind server brought us a handful of milkbones and ice water for our pups. The food and beer selections were both solid.
- ScottJul 15, 2022Great Pizza and Dog Friendly

- LisaJul 13, 2022Great stop!

- AndreaJul 13, 2022Nice surprise
Very dog friendly, large bowl of fresh water was given to my Siberian. Food was good, brew was good. T-shirts to buy are a good price and amusing. I would spot with or without my Sib. I had the Bison Buger, it was thin but had a good taste. Duck sliders were tastey too.
- KerreJun 23, 2022Meh…. Skip this place for food
Atmosphere was great, service odd, food horrible! The nachos were like little league concession stand food…
- KaylaJun 19, 2022Dog friendly on a nice patio!
The outdoor seating area is very nice, they also allow dogs inside but only high top tables. We were seated and the dogs received a water bowl before the server took our drink order!! The food was delicious. Reason for 4 bones- We were there near closing time and the service was not the best. Good food and good beer, even better company(pups!) !
- DebJun 3, 2022Great Experience
This place welcomed our large dog inside on a rainy day. They gave her a water bowl, treats and tons of attention. The owner stopped by the table and asked if our dog was well taken care of. What a wonderful place to hang out. Oh, the food and drink and service was top notch also. Thanks Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company.

Great place to bring your dog. Started raining and all the covered spots were taken so they let us come I. Out of the rain. Big water bowl for Gemma. They are very accommodating.

They had good service and food. When they saw we had a dog they immediately said let me get her water. The hostess and water were very attentive.
- LauraAug 29, 2021Great place for fur kids!
we had a great table on the patio with dog bowls for water. Service was excellent- enjoyed a flight to get some tastings in, we had the Buffalo burger and the elk burger both excellent. We even picked up some cool tshirts for our family back home!
- MaggieJul 2, 2021Great place
Super dog friendly! Dogs are allowed on the big back porch. They gave our pup some water and a dog treat. Had 12 beers on tap and classic pub food and pizza
- DanJun 13, 2021Meh
service is slow, beer is flat, atmosphere is okay, outside deck is big
- KathleenMay 24, 2021Amazing hospitality, beer and food.
We were thrilled that our dog was allowed in the brewery. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and great service. Beer selection was excellent, pizza amazing. I highly recommended Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company for fun dining experience with your dog.
- JenniferJul 18, 2020Check it out!
The food was good (beef and buffalo burgers delicious, fish and chips not good, very soggy), the beer was 3 out of 5, the Moscow mule was good. They were hosting a car show, a 10 year reunion and were short staffed. Our server was awesome, while being extremely busy. We would go again if in the area.
