We went for dinner in October 2020. service was poor- like they didn’t want to bother with us. they were spending all their energy on a wedding party ( maybe rehearsal dinner). The food was not good- portions were small and so much sand in the seafood. They weren’t crowded ( other than rehearsal dinner which wasn’t ready for seating) so a nice situation for dining with our dog. The previous years-we really enjoyed. But we are not going back to this restaurant this October.

A French restaurant that loves dogs. Three is a large patio in front and dogs are welcome throughout the area. The food is very good and it's fine to order a simple meal or a full, multi-course dinner. Our pup was offered a water bowl right away with a pitcher of ice water to keep it filled. Great dog friendly restaurant.
- PumpkinMore than a year agoplenty of places to sit in the shade
They brought me water without daddy having to ask, albeit a little slow for me. There was plenty of cool shade, with lots of dog loving people. Daddy said the mustard crusted salmon with a salad was good, it must’ve been because he didn’t share.

I came here for lunch while I waited for check in time at my hotel. It was covered and cool with a great view of the harbor. I had a wonderful crab cake sandwich with lemonade. The service was wonderful and it was very dog friendly
- DharmaMore than a year agoGreat rainy day lunch
We managed to arrive in Hilton Head at the same time as a tropical storm so we needed a lunch spot not only with outdoor seating, but with an actual roof. Staff bent over backwards to open the patio for us, brought water & cookies for our dog, and kept up the excellent service throughout. They no longer have a doggy menu but they do offer a chicken & rice dish for pooches. I was ready for the delicious roasted red pepper bisque after running to the gift shop next door for a sweatshirt. I also had an excellent spinach crepe with no bitterness or wateriness & hubby had a chicken salad croissant. He said it was very good along with Parmesan fries. The wine list is pretty substantial & we enjoyed a Cakebread chard. Quick & comfortable, even in horrible weather.
- AkilaMore than a year agoVery dog-friendly but mediocre food
The outdoor seating area is lovely and perfect for pets with a nice patio that is enclosed and heated in the winter, which is very necessary because the breeze coming from the harbor can make it very cool. They brought our dogs a bowl of water and dog treats and we ordered our dogs meals off the dog menu which both of our dogs LOVED (beef and barley, turkey and rice).
However, the restaurant is quite pricey - $25 for an entree - and the food was only okay. My husband ordered the steak frites but the steak was a thin cut and not well-seasoned and we couldn't taste any truffle on the truffled fries. They didn't have any vegetarian options but made me spinach crepes which were good but nothing to write home about. All in all, if you would like a lovely place to sit with your dogs this is a good one but don't expect much out of the people food.
