      Great summer dog restaurant

      We came with our toy poodle for dinner and to watch the twilight ascend. My dog and family had a great meal and a great time. Thanks to the staff for being dog friendly and so welcoming.

      Dogs are not allowed year round

      I was disappointed to enter the restaurant last night and learn that dogs are only allowed on the outdoor patio from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I found it incredibly odd since the tent is not there, so dining is alfresco. The Shelby is always my go-to restaurant, but now I will have to wait until summer to bring my dog.

      This listing implies that the restaurant is dog friendly year round. it’s not. it’s only dog friendly when the flaps are open in the tent during the summer months. As a result, I have no idea how the food and service are.
