      Good food, but

      Why this is on a dog friendly website is not known. Hollywood beach does not allow dogs!!

      They are pet friendly, the cops are not!

      We went to Sugar Reef and the food & service were outstanding! Unfortunately, we were not able to take our doxies as Sugar reef is located on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk and dogs are definitely not welcome there. Before trying to bring the dogs, I spoke with the Maitre 'd and he said that the dogs were most welcome at their outside tables on the boardwalk, however, if the police came by, we could expect a ticket. We ended up taking the pooches back to the room, returning to the restaurant, and greatly enjoying the dining experience.
