We asked the clerk at Oysterbones about a pet friendly restaurant in Apalachacola.
She recommended Up The Creek Raw Bar.
We had excellent service, and very good food!
Beautiful view of the river. Nice breeze.
Very enjoyable lunch, highly recommend! - Ann-MargaretJan 31, 2024Great view and great for dogs
We went there for lunch today with our two Westies, and they were so great to bring us water, and our dogs loved the view and the sunshine. The food was really good as well and service. Checking on us was awesome. The dogs loved it!

I had a discrepancy with an order I placed last week. Preston, the manager, quickly took care of my order and corrected the issue. He was great! The view was also great!!!

I don’t recommend this place. The food was over cooked and over seasoned. I carried my 13 lb service dog in the elevator to avoid the stairs (bad knees) and leaving, while still carrying my pup, the server stated “no animals in the elevator”.

Plastic cups, straws, minimal service.

We are on a road trip from Florida to Iowa. Our rule on road trip has always been back roads as much as possible and NO chain restaurants! This year, our pup, Jack, is with us...so we have to find places where he can join us. We really lucked out with our first stop. The fried shrimped was breaded perfectly with nicely seasoned fries. My husband had the mignonette oysters and said they were some of the best he'd ever had...and he likes his oysters! Of course, you can't beat the view!

Had a great time at Up the Creek! Seadood is fresh and prepared to perfection. Dog friendly dining on the balcony overlooking the water.

Great dog friendly waitstaff & establishment. Food was flavorful fresh and served with friendly upbeat staff. Follow the paws to the upper porch. You won't regret this stop.

Food was ok, a little pricey. Deck was definitely decorated to welcome dogs BUT the staff seemed to be a little annoyed dealing with all the dogs that were there. They did offer a bowl of water.

Great outdoor seating for you and your pet. It is covered with ceiling fans and has windows and screens so the windows can be opened. We had four appetizers instead of an entree. We had the calamari, fried green beans, sweet potato fries, and a half-pound of broiled shrimp. Believe me, the shrimp are huge. It took only five shrimp to make up that half pound. As with all restaurants in this area, it was a bit expensive, but no more so than any others. You can't go to Apalachicola without stopping in here. Our dog was made to feel welcome.
- JohnMore than a year agoGreat seafood and very dog-friendly
We had lunch here twice and the first time (fish tacos and crab cakes) it was good; the second time (oysters mignonette and peel 'n eat jumbo shrimp) it was great! Very attentive service and a nice selection of beers on tap (and a full bar). Plus, very dog-friendly in their enclosed porch overlooking the bay. Friendly and casual with ample parking (a little in front and a lot on the street). Prices are moderate but good for what you get.

This is an awesome place to dine outdoors with your dog. They have an entire upstairs porch area where dogs are welcome with both a covered section with ceiling fans and an uncovered area. The food is a little expensive - like most other places in the area - but very good. The staff was friendly, and happy to greet our dog and answer questions about other dog-friendly establishments in the area. We would definitely go back.

This is a great place to take your dog! We've been twice and they couldn't be more friendly. Great views from the porch. The Classic oysters are the best!
