The outdoor seating is first come first serve so don’t even bother going to the hostess. My husband went up there and said he recieved major attitude from her saying she doesn’t seat the outdoor tables so he asked if she knew if there were any open. which she snapped back no I don’t deal with you outside people. Once we sat down our meal was good I enjoyed my seafood pasta and the dogs were attended to right away with water. we were able to see dolphins from where we sat. overall I would say it’s 3.5 only because the hotess was rude and you would think being the first thing you see and hear from it would be better.

the outdoor patio was first come first serve and some of the tables are closed due to under staffing. the website says that they don’t take reservations. the night went smoothly once we were settled at a table

Lovely outdoor patio, they brought a big bowl of ice water for my fur babies right away. The shrimp po boy was perfect for sharing with my littles. Very friendly staff and service was prompt.

Their patio was perfect to enjoy the waterfront with our dogs. Brought us a bowl of water. Great food and service!

We found this place because we were looking for dog friendly options. They don't take reservations for the outdoor patio so we ended up leaving our pup at the hotel that night but the restaurant was great, awesome crossiants, and they give you Birthday ice cream.

Outdoor seating was limited, but the waiter was nice enough to set up another table to accommodate us with our dog. Service was slow and the food was mediocre. We could not see the sunset from our table in the back, but it was still a nice view.

What a wonderful dining experience with our dog! We arrived by boat and tied up right in front of the dog friendly patio area. Jordan, our server, did an amazing job bringing our tasty food and even paying attention to our furry child. Arrive a little early to avoid the prime time rush for the patio area tables. We have dined here for years. The water view is very relaxing, inside or out.

Nice location and atmosphere right on the water. It was a great night for sitting outside watching the boats while enjoying a drink and dinner with our Havanese. The waiter made her feel welcome as did our fellow diners. The food was good but I wouldn't say it was anything out of an ordinary nice restaurant. Always nice to be able to
share a good dinner when traveling with the dog though. - MalloryMore than a year agotop notch
This restaurant is one of the best dog friendly ones in the Charleston area! Outdoor patio area is devine! Great service, excellent food, and amazing food! Patio area has little to no covering. Don't go with pooch if weather is bad.

I called the restaurant to see if my dog could dine with my husband and I and was told we could bring our dog. Upon arriving at the restaurant, about 10 minutes after I called, I was informed that the outside patio was not opened and we could not dine. We had to return to our hotel greatly disappointed. There should be better communication between management and hostess.

We live in Myrtle Beach and have been to that location many times. This was our first time at this one, and it did not disappoint! Great waterfront outdoor seating. Service as great. Pooches got their own bucket of cold water. And the food is fantastic.

We had dinner at California Dreaming, eating on the patio so our dogs could join us. We found a table with a grassy area behind the patio so our dogs hung out there. The servers were most excellent, and ours even brought out a bucket of water for our dogs. :) We had an excellent view of boats in the harbor, it was beautiful, very pleasant, great food, we had a great dinner and great time at California Dreaming in Charleston!!! :)
-- Also, we were staying at La Quinta Riverview -- you can walk from it to California Dreaming, so very convenient! :) - KevinMore than a year agoExcellent food, very nice location!
One of the nicest, dog friendly restaurants in Charleston. View on the water, excellent food and a bucket of ice water for our Jack Russell Terrier. Five bones!
