The food was excellent! So was our waitress! The door guy was a bit rude when I asked about the dogs tho so thats the only reason I gave 4 bones. I dont think he should be greeting people.

I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times in the past 25 years. The food is outstanding. The outdoor seating along the stream is a perfect setting to enjoy a meal with my hubby and dog Girlie. There was an hour wait this time, but it is because the food is so good. I had lasagna and my husband had shrimp fettuccine, and of course the garlic knots. Large portions. Will go back next time I am in Gatlinburg ❤️

We went to Best Italian on the recommendation of a Tennessee local, and we loved it! They had some great lunch specials, and their garlic rolls are so delish! They share a patio seating area with an adjacent restaurant, but there's plenty of seating for you and your pooch. We sat next to the fence so our pup could people watch while we ate. The staff was really friendly, and there was already a water bowl out because there was another family with a dog enjoying a meal outside as well.

Took our dog there 2 years ago only to find out the policy had changed to only service dogs. Will not go back as I really only liked the food because my dog was there.

We ate here for lunch, needing a pet friendly place. Food was good, service was excellent. My girls each got special love 💕 And the a each a big bowl of water. We will be back! 💜💛🖤

We were in for lunch. Scarlett was given a bowl of iced water (warm, humid day), which they made sure stayed full, along with our glasses. She drank her fill and went to sleep, waking only when staff members cam by to love on her. The food was very good, too. Almost worth the trip by itself.

Highly recommended! Waiters were so nice to the 3 dogs that we brought, they were always stopping to pet the dogs and bringing us bowls of water for them. Great place, and good food!!

Food is excellent, haven't had anything bad there. We always eat at the Best Italian when we visit Gatlinburg. Always dog welcoming & making over our dogs.

This is just about our favorite restaurant. When we make trips to the mountains we try to stay near Gatlinburg so we can eat here. Great food and sitting on the patio next to the creek is an added bonus.

A friend with 2 dogs recommended this to us-and it was all they said it would be! They brought our 'grand-dog' a clean fresh dish of water and made sure she was comfortable. We felt the food was very good and served hot. And the server we had was excellent. As many times as we have been to Gatlinburg, we'd never eaten at this place, I will definitely return with or without our 'grand-dog'!

They were "meh" about our dog, but they did bring him a bowl of water. The prices are OUTrageous! At $20 per plate you'd expect food that was possible to eat, but no... I gave my dog most of mine. The garlic knots everyone raves about were at least 2 days old, stale and soaking in oil (not in a good way). I would never return to this place, especially with these prices. There are other options on the same patio in Gatlinburg.

We ate hear before we adopted our puppy so I can't comment on how obliging they are to the fur babies or what they ahve special for them. I can say that the food was quite good and the prices reasonable. (We were there for lunch).
