Stopped in for lunch and it was wonderful

This place has a cozy patio! Pets are very welcome, there were a couple other dogs when we got there. Nice cool tile for our pup to cool off after a hike in the Organ Mountains. Their beer is very refreshing and we had fantastic service from Tabitha!

Servers were incredibly friendly and welcomed our service dog as if he were their own. Covered patio was perfect. Nachos and burger were great and super reasonably priced. Beer was excellent. We’ll certainly stop next time through.

We stopped in on our way across country. Great beer and the food was wonderful! Super dog friendly too!
One note, sign is hard to see, look carefully through some trees so you don't miss it! - AshleighOct 3, 2018Pupper Friendly
Everyone who comes expects dogs and respects boundaries. this is my favorite restaurant to do socializing training because everyone is so kind and patient with the animals. The food is fairly good and I'm told the beer is one of the best on town

Our favorite spot to hang out and take the dogs too!

Today, I brought my service dog to HDB so I could have a meal. Upon my arrival, the co-owner, Donna Almarez, refused me and my service dog access to the main dining room. Ada prohibits such exclusions by law. Regardless of my explanation of the law, my service dog and I were asked to leave the premises. While I was offered a spot outside, my choice was to sit inside, a choice permitted to me by federal law.

Really great beer and hamburger. Dogs get watter ang have frieds to interact with. You will have a god meal, and folks to talk to. Go there!

One low point: High Desert Brewery belongs in Texas
... so I can become a regular.
Little hole in wall in an industrial park. We pulled in, looked around, and went back to pick up the dogs and bring them with us. "Dog friendly" is an understatement. Must have a dozen dogs there that day.
Atmosphere was laid back and friendly. We talked with all the tables around us, even the couple with the rescue dog who had to leave because of his aggressiveness.
The beer was good, if unexciting for a microbrewery.
What we tried off the menu was good and dirt cheap.
This would be my hangout if I leaved nearby. The food and beer aren't spectacular, but the atmosphere, the crowd, and the low prices make High Desert a winner.
