- JackieOct 22, 2023Fun place!
we came here off season in late October with our pup to watch the baseball playoff’s. they allowed us at the back bar area to drink and eat while sitting under the heaters and fireplace. Good food and fun, friendly staff.
- EricJun 24, 2023Great Family spot to bring your kids and Fur babies
The food was great, our waitress Delaney was awesome! she brought a bowel of water and a huge hamburger patty for Ringo! my wife had the broiled crab cakes and I had the braised boneless short ribs. everything was delicious!! the live music was very good and the sunset over the bay finished off a great evening!
- LalaAug 4, 2022Dog friendly!!
Didn’t bring our pup, but pups were present and well received!!!
- KaitApr 25, 2022Definitely dog friendly!
When we went, the entire patio was full of dogs, there had to be 10 tables with a dog! It was a little chaotic at times due to tight quarters but we're so thankful for a restaurant that accommodated us!

Sat outside with our Newfy. They were very accomodating. Saw someone there with a weinmaraner. Nice food, cool vibe, great sunset across the bay. Had a really nice time. Had bay scallops, my wife had coconut shrimp. Both were nice. Our newfy loved it with his bucket of ice cold water.

- Anne marieJun 25, 2020Great Food and Beautiful Location
Had dinner there with our pups, who were welcomed with open arms and fawned over. The food was amazing and the view was lovely. In spite of COVID-19 and all of its rules, the (masked) staff were friendly, attentive, and created a great atmosphere.
- LaurenAug 22, 2019Great Every time!
My family and I have come here a couple times with our two smaller dogs and we have love this place so much! We went for dinner a little earlier to avoid crowds and got seated right away. Good food, amazing drinks and we got to watch the breathtaking sunset after dinner. Would highly recommend this place!!

- CaseyJun 30, 2019Disappointed
So my boyfriend and I took my dog down to Cape May, NJ. And I know it's the off season but there was very little to do. We looked on here, found this place, and thought "sounds nice lets check it out." Very disappointed... service was ok but only because one of the busgirls came over to talk to us about our dog. Our waitress was barely at our table, my baby got no shade because they wouldn't let us put up the umbrella ("it was to windy"), and the food was NOT very good. My fish tacos had no flavor and my boyfriend's chicken sandwich was burnt. Not going back...

Brought my pup there yesterday. I have been to quite a few different cape May dog friendly places. We walked in and it was around 3pm. It was fairly busy. We get seated and soon told we probably can’t sit there because a 20 top was coming. It felt uncomfortable and tense. Then the service was minimal. We ended up just getting drinks and leaving. Not worth the hype.
- LetiMore than a year agonot very friendly experience
After reading great reviews here we headed over for dinner with our two small dogs. It was a damp, drizzly day and when we arrived there was only one other table with people seated under the awning. We were told the “pet friendly” dining was out on the open part of the deck not under the awning. It was very wet there. The tables weren’t even set up and had to be wiped down. I am not sure why we couldn’t sit under the covered part of the deck. We decided to sit on the wet part but only have drinks since it wasn’t a good spot to eat dinner. When our server found out we only wanted drinks she said we could fetch our own. I was quite shocked! The dogs were given the water bucket though. It seems like other reviewers were welcomed under the awning. It was not busy at all so I’m not sure why our experience was so poor. There would be great sunset views so maybe this is a better place to bring Fido on a nice day.

We stop here for lunch every time we leave Cape May for home. Good food (try Henry's grouper sandwich), good service, beautiful view. Only issue we have with Henry's is that they are not open weekdays off season (maybe even in season?). Makes us sad when we can't stop there.

My husband &I and our Silky Terrier Bear ate there today. Waited 20 minutes for a table, which is fine but our waiter neglected is the entire time. Never offered anything for Bear, overall the food was ok at best. We then waited 30 minutes for our check, if I wasn't in customer service myself I would have walked out and not paid my check.
- RobMore than a year agovery good
Very dog friendly out on their deck. Great food and drink. They bring water for the pooches in a Miller Lite bucket!!
- MiaMore than a year agoawesome
Food was great. Drinks were great. My dog was happy. We were earlier turned away from the rusty nail with our dog and 15 month old because it was drizzly day and hey would not allow the dog under the awning. Harpoon Henry's fed us and welcomed our pup! Def recommend to all our dog lovers.
- CaseyMore than a year agoPerfect Relaxed Atmosphere, Great Food!
We went here with our two big guys (Ridgeback, & German Shorthair) in August on a beautiful night!
This is much different from the downtown cape
May atmosphere. It is quiet - right on the bay, with a beautiful sunset view. They had live music which was fantastic! While we waited for our seats on the patio, we played corn hole in the sand and our pups relaxed in the sand, and some of the kiddos got to pet them while they waited for their table! They have a great waiting area with picnic tables, a bar, and a sand area where you (or your kids) can hang out and play corn hole while you wait.
When we were seated, the waiter brought our two pooches two bowls of water and they laid under the table. It is very relaxed and our food was delicious! We got the seafood.
They were SO DOG FRIENDLY! While we were there, we saw 4 other dogs out to dinner as well! What a great spot! Friendly and fun! We definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to bring their pooch on vacation! - JerrieMore than a year agoYum!
Great food and great atmosphere. Very friendly service too! Definitely worth a visit or two!
- NicoleMore than a year agoGreat Place to Eat
We stopped there with our 2 dogs for dinner on a Saturday night. We opted for the bar area because it was less crowded, our dogs got a bucket of water before we got our drinks and they made their hamburgers just the way we ordered them, no sides and no bun. Food was great, service was great, and there's a dog-friendly beach right across the street. Definitely worth going again and again.
- TaraMore than a year agoWorth the stop
Very very pet friendly. Watch the sunset, have a drink, get some food and relax all with your dog at your side. You have the bay across the street so Fido can go swimming and running after lunch.
