The Beef Barn The Beef Barn has a dog-friendly picnic table. When it opened its doors it was the summer of '69, but Bryan Adams was nowhere to be seen. Instead, upon entering the building you will be transported back to yesteryear. The walls are adorned with vintage hatboxes and original signage from Cobble Rock. The menu is also a throwback, many of the items that were originally sold still remain, including lots of the sandwiches that are listed. As the name suggests, they are most well know for their roast beef sandwich, cooked low and slow for eight hours and sliced throughout the day. The Blount family started in the food business in 1880, harvesting and packing oysters and clams from Narragansett Bay.
