ATA's Pet Travel Policy
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulates air transportation of pets and all airlines are required by law to follow the guidelines outlined on our Air Travel Regulations for Pets page. Individual airlines may impose further restrictions or fees for flying with your pet. ATA's pet policy is described below.

Pets in the Cabin:
ATA accepts personal pets in the cabin on domestic flights when space is available. Each passenger over twelve is allowed to carry on one pet. The pet's carrier must fit under the seat in front of you, and be a maximum of 25"x15"x9".
A charge of $75.00 per carrier will be assessed each way for the transport of pets in the cabin.
Pets Checked with Baggage:
ATA no longer accepts pets in the cargo area.
