Midwest Airlines's Pet Travel Policy

Individual airlines may impose further restrictions or fees for flying with your pet. Midwest Airlines's pet policy is described below.

Pets in the Cabin:
Midwest Airlines will accept a small dog for transportation in the
aircraft cabin for a one-way fee of $75. The dog must fit in a soft
carrier with dimenstions no larger than 11x11x13, and a veterinarian's
certificate of health is required and must be issued within 10 days of
departure date. Health certificates are generally valid for 30 days.
Therefore, if your travels go beyond 30 days, a new certificate will
be needed for the return flight. Pets must have food or water within
four hours of departure, and separate food and water containers must
be securely attached to the inside of the carrier in the event of a
delay. Space for pets may be limited, please call 800-452-2022 to list
your pet before purchasing your ticket. Pets are not accepted on
Midwest Connect Regional Jets. Unaccompanied minors under the age of
15 are not allowed to travel with in-cabin pets.
Pets Checked with Baggage:
Pets in approved carriers are allowed in the baggage compartment of Midwest Airlines. Pets are carried in the forward compartment, which is heated and pressurized. Pets are not accepted on Midwest Connect Regional Jets.
A $75 one-way charge applies to animals as checked baggage. Space for pets may be limited, so please call Midwest Airlines to list your pet before purchasing your ticket.
