  Nice dog walk area

  Not sure if the dog walk area belonged to Candlewood or Doubletree across the way, but it was nice. Location is great if not for what looked like an “immigration detention center” next door.

  Awesome for furry friends

  Very pet friendly. My dog thoroughly enjoyed our 3+ week stay. Large grassy area for dogs with waste bags to clean up after. All the employees were very nice, accommodating and love pets, treats at front desk! Hotel very clean and comfortable with plenty of complimentary parking and convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. Would not hesitate to stay here again if needed in the future.

  Friendly and Clean

  The rooms are very clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Our lab’s wagging tail created a small wind storm when he received his welcoming treat! We will definitely be back.

  We enjoyed our stay

  Rooms are clean and have a full kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, sink, and dishwasher). Staff was friendly to not only my boyfriend and I, but our fur baby as well. We saw many other dogs during our visit. The staff has treats at the desk for dogs. There is an area in the back of the hotel designated for dogs to use the bathroom along with disposable bags and garbage. There's washer and dryers on site with no extra charge along with a 24/7 fitness room. plus free wifi. You can leave well-behaved dogs alone in the room. There is also a wonderful off leash dog park about 8 minutes from the hotel.

  Great stay!

  Rooms were clean and comfortable, very easy and convenient with two big dogs. Would definitely stay there again.

  Convenient location

  Clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. Our spoiled Lilly seemed to feel content there. We would definitely stay again.

  Dog friendly but location is sketchy

  We absolutely enjoyed our room. The beds were comfortable and although it's in need a remodel (which apparently they are doing soon) we thought the hotel rooms were nice and clean. The area is convenient to the highway but a few sketchy people/hotels are nearby. We didn't have any issues but it just made us keep an eye out. We would stay here again, especially after renovations.

  Great service!

  My dog was very comfortable here. Everyone including the guests were very kind. Bonus having a full size refrigerator while traveling. Would definitely stay again.

  Very Dog Friendly Hotel

  From the moment the front desk offered my pup treats until they asked him to stay again, my dog was a VIPuppy for a couple of days. Lots of grass around the hotel for doggy business too, and even the location by the highway and major retailers and restaurants was great.

  Very nice hotel

  Very nicely appointed, clean suite. The only possible complaint I could have is the size was a bit small, with room for only one bedside table with a queen bed. But that's such a minor complaint that I didn't lower the rating. Very friendly staff. Pet relief area is equipped with a bag dispenser and a disposal container. A couple of food establishments within walking distance, but you'll need a vehicle to access a wider selection. The hotel isn't highly visible, being tucked away between a Red Roof Inn and a DoubleTree, but it isn't difficult to find. Would definitely stay here again.

  Raises the bar

  From registering to leaving absolutely great stay. Kayley and Jackie (hope I have their names correct) are exemplars. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Plenty of areas to walk with dogs. Employees very friendly with dogs. The magnet for the room door is a good idea because it let us know where others dogs were staying. I even met the person and dog across the hall because of the magnet. this hotel raises the bar for IHG hotels quality, cleanliness, comfort and the two exemplary staff.

  Very pet friendly!

  I really enjoyed my stay here with my yellow lab. The staff were very friendly to her and even had feeding bowls to lend if you forget yours! There was lots of grass area to take the dog out in the morning and the location was really good too with lots of restaurants nearby.

  Great experience!

  This was my final night in a 16 day trip moving my daughter and her boyfriend from Cincinnati, Ohio to Boston. My pup Phoebe and I stayed in 5 different hotels during this trip and Candlewood Suites in Buffalo was by far the best! Great hospitality, best mini mart, close to a Trader Joe’s and Premier Wine among many others. Great lending library too, whether crockpots, books, board games, etc. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! Will definitely stay here again!

  Great hotel

  Our family of 6 (2 parents, 2 kids, 1 XL dog and 1 puppy) fit nicely in the studio suite. Room was clean and kitchen was convenient. Only issue for us was being on the third floor with a puppy; we were worried he wouldn’t make it! Staff was great too!

  Candlewood has a notice on their bulletin board advising pet owners how to make their pet's hotel stay the best that it can be. The staff will even check in on a pet in the hotel room.

  Great place to bring a pet!

  Staff was so friendly towards my dog! Greeted him with treats at check in. They also had a list of pet stores, dog parks and vets ready as well!

  Clean, comfortable and Dog Friendly!

  We spent one night with our 60 lb. dog and found it to be a great place to stay. The suite, a very good value, had a well equipped kitchen separated from the living room with a counter/island and a nice sized bedroom with a solid door so that it was perfectly quiet. There were no noises to bother the dog. The bed was comfortable and the suite was very clean, although obviously a dog room as evidenced from some torn but repaired carpet. The room was on the first floor, next to an exit door which we appreciated, making it very easy to walk the dog. This was our first time at a Candlewood property and we will return. We were given doggie treats on arrival by the friendly staff.

  Great room with comfortable beds and pillows. Very accommodating for my dog. I got room service the salmon was huge and cooked perfectly.
