  Great staff

  Very adequate stay for the price. I was directed to a great dog park and very good restaurant. Older but clean and everything worked. Breakfast was fruit, snacks, and coffee.

  Updated Rooms, Great Dog Area

  Let's start with the super reasonable dog fee! Just one small charge per dog at check-in; no stupid recurring daily fee. Then, take the pups for a walk. There is a small patch of grass right next to the hotel with plenty of baggies available. However 100 feet further, and you've got a big open field to play catch and let fido do some business. Finally, settle into your comfy bed. Wake in the morning to first class shampoo and conditioner. Hit the lobby for some coffee and maybe an egg muffin sandwich. The entire time, you'll have wonderful hosts in the lobby, and free shuttle service anywhere in town. We will be back!

  Great place!

  The front desk staff was great! Offered our dog a treat on arrival and departure. There were plenty of breakfast options, comfortable beds, and a well-maintained area with dog bags next to the motel. We will stay here in the future. Safe travels!

  Excellent

  Cute old style motel with all upgrades! Receptionist very pleasant and helpful. Room very clean and lovely really. Relatively quiet for being in town. The breakfast was great. All grab-and-go in mini fridges with good selection. Later checkout also a plus. Keurig in our room with k cups. Dogs received treats upon check in.

  Super friendly front desk staff!

  Our stay was very enjoyable with the exception of the air conditioner. It was very noisy which made getting a good night’s sleep difficult.

  Comfortable

  Very comfortable room. Was able to park right in front of the room which was very convenient. Room was clean. Bathroom was a little dated (loudest flushing toilet I’ve ever heard and loud fan too). Breakfast was sufficient. Motel personnel was friendly and helpful. There’s a grassy area by the street for dogs (with poop bags and trash container). Would stay again. Close to restaurants, gas and the freeway.

  Very dog friendly!

  This motel was perfect for us! hey gave our dog treats, the room was spotless, bed super comfy, bathroom very clean, AC worked well on our 94° stay, safe area to walk our dog, and the pool was delightful at day’s end! The continental breakfast available in the lobby offered a diverse selection. I should note the room was very quiet and traffic dies down at night, so don’t worry about being on the Main Street! Thanks for a great stay!

  Nice stay

  Pleasantly surprised. Very clean, cute and accommodating. It's nice to see a hotel that serves dogs and yet has a high standard in keeping their humans feeling right at home. The pool looked inviting though didn't get an opportunity to jump in. Breakfast had a variety of choices. If I were to give them one Scooby snack demerit, it would be the lack of a specified and ample size dog area. We just walked around the corner to an open lot. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying here. They could teach Days Inn a thing or two about hospitality.

  Great stopover on the way to Boise

  Totally dog friendly, they even have a bag of dog treats for each 🐕🐕. Friendly, clean and they even serve breakfast. It's an older motel, but has been updated with all the amenities. Their rates are great. We will be staying there again. Thanks BringFido.

  Hidden gem

  This is a great place to stay with or without pets. Excellent room. Friendly staff. Adequate pet relief area. Comfortable bed. VERY clean room.

  No pet area on site!

  Check in was friendly and nice. Hotel is average. But there is no pet area; you must walk around the corner to the sidewalk. This was definitely a problem for us.

  The front office staff are very kind and friendly. The place is very dog-friendly (inc. big dogs), and the rooms are good-sized, well stocked, and clean. We would definitely stay there again!

  Great place to stay on a road trip

  Room was clean. Reception (Mary) was very pleasant and welcoming. Central location. Highly recommend to travelers with dogs passing through.

  The rooms were clean, staff was great. No designated pet area but it was a short walk across the parking lot to grass along the sidewalk. It was great for a 1 night stay not too loud.

  The price was reasonable, and the staff are so friendly and efficient. We stay here with our 2 dogs every time we come through. Very clean & dog friendly. Big area out back to take your dogs.

  Don’t let exterior deter you

  The interior furnishings are nice and very comfortable and clean. Not a large lawn area for dog but has a field out back which was great for our Brittney. Good price for what what you get 👍🐶

  Good motel for dogs

  Friendly staff, good area for dog relief, room was clean and not too run down, though a bit dated. It's a bit noisy, esp. The ground floor unit we were in, because the floorboards in the unit above creaked and popped with every step. Good value, however.

  Great Motel for the Budget-Minded

  My husband, German Shepherd Dog Lola, and I have been on the road for almost two months, driving from Pennsylvania to California and now back again. Last night we parked our road-weary selves at this sweet little motel. Check-in was easy, the room was very clean, the beds comfortable. What set this place apart from other budget motels we’ve stayed in (and there are a lot!) were the thoughtful details: free HBO, a Kuerig coffee maker with decent pods, a mat for the tub (amazing how many places have slippery tubs), a couple of mints at bedside, a real live mounted makeup magnified mirror in the bathroom (I NEVER see this in budget motels), and a decent free continental-style breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcomed our Lola with a couple of treats. Directly behind the motel was an empty field for Lola to chase her beloved tennis balls. I had a nice morning chat with a young boy who said that he and his parents—along with their little dog—always stay here when in Winnemucca, and I certainly see why.

  Would stay again

  Was very pleasantly surprised! Not at all the 'motel' vibe I was expecting. Room was cozy, super clean, very well outfitted. The towels were thick, fridge, mwave, quiet room, friendly check in, grass around for little, night walks and field w neighborhood in back for longer (and safe) day walks. I really want expecting much but now I would book again when crossing the Nevada desert (mattresses are firm and sheets are a cotton/poly blend but that doesn't bother me). This isn't your 5 star regency hotel but a fine, dog friendly motel for a one night stop. (XL dogs are welcomed too:)

  Nice updated hotel

  Clean, conveniently located hotel with free cold breakfast and even dog biscuits for the fur babies. Only reason it didn’t get 5 bones is no green space for walking/pottying.

  Overrated

  Always like to support small locally owned motel/hotels even when overpriced like this one but we’ll not stay here again nor recommend it. The room was not clean. I discovered a sticky spot and wiped it up with a wet towel. I am convinced it was urine, pee from a prior guest. The towel was yellow and black when I was done. Then a while later I discovered another pee place across the room. It was too late to find another room so we just avoided the stains. To top off our stay they checked in some drunks to the room above us at 12:30 and we had to listen to their arguments and clomping around for the next hour and a half. Nope, we shall not return.

  Nice people

  Room was pretty much as expected for the price - decent, clean and comfortable. What stood out was the service. We were traveling during a particularly snowy afternoon and evening. They checked in with us twice to ensure we would make it and said they would be waiting for us no matter how late our arrival. Then they were very nice and welcoming, both during check in and checkout.

  Best possible combination of price and cleanliness.

  This place was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it for anyone doing an overnight in Winnemucca. Extremely inexpensive, very clean, no carpet. The property itself doesn't have much grass but there is some open space just around the corner no more than a minute walk. Beds were comfortable and no icky feelings whatsoever. We also highly recommend the Bakkara Basque Bistro a few blocks down.

  It's not 5/5 like a 3*+ hotel would be, but it deserves the exposure for being a cheap motel that makes for a clean and pleasant stay since they are getting harder and harder to find.

  Very good property

  Have stayed here with and without our dog, so our room was different with our pet. Two queen beds (no king available) made the room a little tight. A/C unit is close to the beds so air was very chilly. Staff is great and there is ample area to walk your dog. Overall not bad for a 1 night stay.

  There was a terrible smell in our room. We were told to open the door and window. Eventually went to another room, and they charged more, but didn’t tell us, till I got the credit card bill.

  Friendly, comfy digs!

  Both dogs and all three people in our traveling party enjoyed a warm, friendly welcome when we checked in. Rooms were roomy (crates fit with space to spare), beds won the approval of people and dogs ... would stay again in s heartbeat! Great value!!

  Very Pet-Friendly Staff

  Likely the best pet-friendly hotel in Central Nevada. If you're driving I-80 across NV, there's sparse pickings between Reno and Elko. The Holiday Motel Winnemucca is great if you're looking for a clean, quiet accommodations.

  Easy and Friendly

  This is a no nonsense motel in the heart of Winnemucca. The staff is really pleasant and there is a little field a half block away to exercise in as well as a grassy strip with pet bags along side the motel. We went up to Water Canyon, straight up Hanson Street for a big run. It was awesome.

  This is our pick stop it is always clean ,the office help go way beyond to see to your needs. The manager is a real find. Hardly ever find one as helpful and friendly. Keep up the fantastic job. Steve & Joyce , Idaho

  Nice staff, good advice given.

  Husband and I stayed and a very pet friendly room in June 2019. It was clean, spacious, and well appointed with extra room for our dog bed. The woman had checked us and obviously love dogs, knew where they could exercise off leash for fun, and showed us where the nice grassy relief station was.
