We recently stayed at Best Friends Sanctuary in one of their cabins with our two dogs and it was Amazing!!!! Can not say enough good things about Best Friends. The cabin was perfect and the hiking around Best Friends was awesome. Everyone was so nice and the play is extremely dog friendly. Perfect vacation. We volunteered in dog town and it was an incredible experience. Will be back. Best trip!!!

You can drive through the canyon where the sanctuary is located, it’s beautiful. Dogs are allowed on leash in several areas of the canyon, but not on the tour vans. Stop by the welcome center for a map of Places you can take your dog on-leash (including hiking trails, a cool natural amphitheater, and the beautiful pet cemetery).
