  Exceeded Any and All Expectations

  I chose this location because it seemed very dog friendly and was conveniently located for our travels. Little did I know what an incredible place it is. Meticulously clean with every detail to make a perfect stay for both humans as well as their furry companions. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to travel comfortably and in-style with their pets.

  Perfect place for furry friends

  The best dog/cat friendly accommodations ever. Cat trees and litter boxes and dog beds are provided. Everything is super clean and the staff love the critters.

  Awesome place

  Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Had my entire family with me. Best part is the dog run, 2 dogs with plenty of energy. Definitely will stay here again in the future and will recommend to all of our friends with pups!

  Wonderful place to stay!

  We loved our visit and so did our fur baby. I couldn’t believe how clean and fresh smelling our room was! Hotels that don’t allow pets don’t smell this nice! They had everything we could want, except a microwave. But that wasn’t really needed. It was really relaxing to take our pup everywhere and feel welcomed! This is the only hotel we will stay at when we are in the area. We loved visiting the sanctuary just down the road and seeing their passion to save all animals. It’s a beautiful area, be sure to visit the Angel’s Outlook and take plenty of tissues! Thank you Best Friends for a lovely time and comfortable room.

  Home on the Road

  Like the last time, great. Very nice room. Wonderful breakfast. Our dog was treated like the queen she is, and no upcharge for her.

  Excellent Experience

  We stayed here for 3 nights with our two greyhounds. Everything is geared towards you and your pet’s comfort. Dog beds in the room slide out from under the ends of the beds; double door entry so your dog can’t run out when you open the door; dog bowls in the room; dog park on the back of the property; plenty of towels in the room for you and your pets. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would give it 10 bones if I could!

  Amazing Stay!

  The BF Roadhouse architecture and interiors are attractive, modern and thoughtfully designed for pet and human comfort. State of the art lighting and controls. Beautiful desert landscaping and off leash areas- including waterfall feature. Great coffee and continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Reasonable rate for excellent lodging. Will definitely be back.

  All About The Pups!

  Both pups and humans had a great stay! The little details in how the room was arranged, overall grounds with lots of rock and potty break spots right outside the rooms, dog park and treats on arrival were such a cute touch. The zucchini bread on the continental breakfast was sooo good! I loved the mercantile and bought the cutest tank top. We look forward to going back again!

  Simply the best

  NEXT LEVEL dog accommodations! If you pass through Kanab, Utah w/your dogs we HIGHLY recommend Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile. Our dogs loved the on site dog park/splash pad and we washed them in the dog spa self service dog wash (two washing tubs & grooming stations - shampoo & towels are complimentary). We were presented with cookies for us/treats for the dogs at check-in. Love this place🤷‍♂️🐾❤️

  Always a great stay!

  The rooms are comfortable and 100% dog friendly. My favorite feature is the entryway with an inner door that allows you to enter the room without the fear of your pet trying to escape.

  Spectacular place

  I can't say enough awesome things about this place! Can I give 10 Bones? Everything from the gorgeous and pet friendly grounds (2 dog parks + water splash zone) to the luxurious rooms is awesome. Rooms have a double door system to help keep pooches contained while using the door. Included in the price are a washer/dryer for all the pup bedding during travel and two full dog grooming stations complete with soap, towels, blow dryers and brushes. We gratefully used all the facilities and made travel across the country with our girls really fun. The people beds are super comfy and the bath/kitchen are modern and beautiful. Thank you, Best Friends for your lovely space and attention to detail for furry friends and people alike.

  Best pet-friendly hotel ever

  Well, now we're spoiled. No other place is going to measure up to this hotel when travelling with our pups. Rooms are thoughtfully laid out and super comfortable. Breakfast was great in the mercantile and dogs are welcome pretty much everywhere. There's even a great dog park on the property with splash fountains and everything!

  Best Hotel EVER

  I would live here if I could! EVERYTHING is set up perfectly for your dog. Two fenced play areas (with motion detector lights if you need to go out in the dark) that were large, had both grass and gravel areas, benches to sit on while your pet plays, poop bags supplied and the grounds were spotless! Rooms were beautiful with double door entry that are extremely helpful if you’ve got a "Bolter." Dog bed built in the room is adorable. Dishes and feeding area set up in the room along with special “wipe my paws” towels. People and dog treats given to us at check in. They have truly thought of everything. I will never stay anyplace else while I’m in town!!

  Best pet-friendly hotel!

  Love this place! The staff is super helpful and pleasant. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be working there or staying there. The cafe is great, the lounge area is nice, has games and such. And there’s and outdoor area for dogs that even has a dog wash! We didn’t bring our pet opting to do the pet sleepover with a cat at Best Friends Animal sanctuary. I highly recommend that experience!

  Fur baby vacation

  ere has this place been? Why aren't there more vacation residences like Best Friends Roadhouse & Mercantile? Our girls loved the room, the doggy area, and the Mercantile. We just love finding gems that are pet friendly. Service is great from check in to check out. Lots of amenities like professional dog wash set up. Even had a vegan breakfast.

  The Pet Friendly Gold Standard

  No surprise, but this place is designed with your dog in mind. Dog beds and bowls in the room, dog treats at check in, a great dog park out back, water stations everywhere, and your dog is welcome at breakfast. This is what your dog wishes every motel was like.

  Wow! I am sad to be leaving. If only 6 🦴S was allowed. Definitely reflects what is advertised. Amazing pet friendly accommodations from room to dog parks and pet spa. From a human perspective, comfy clean wonderful room. Love the dog bed in the actual bed. The architectural design for environment spectacular inside and out. Staff helpful pleasant and professional. Book ahead!! I Wish I had found this facility a long time ago.

  Best overnight hotel for dogs

  Long road trips are never easy on dogs, especially when the have to stay overnight in an unfamiliar hotel. This hotel provides the comforts of home and comfortable for humans as well. Having a secondary entrance door to keep the pups in, dog bowls and a dog bed was so nice! The welcome cookies were a great treat and super yummy. Love having access to a dog park, even late at night. One suggestion, if you're there during colder temps, might want to bring your own or request more blankets. Bedding is more for warmer weather stays and we had some issues with the heater not working properly. Other than that it was great, beautiful property, rooms and spacious bathroom. Love it!

  The staff were super friendly, the location was in a cute small town, and the rooms were beautiful. Our dog enjoyed the hotel's dog park and fire pit area. We will definitely come back!

  If I could give it more then 5 bones I would!

  First off we were ahead of schedule on the day of check-in, I called the hotel and they told me my room was ready as soon as I got there. So right off the start they were prepared for us and told us to come ahead. The staff was super friendly we each got a treat, two cookies and doggy treats for Bun. The room was very calming and Zen from the second I walked into it. The dog area in the back is separated into two sections one is a smaller area that has a hose hook up so if you wanted to cool your dog off or just play in the water you probably could. There was also a fountain they could play in. The bigger dog run was grassy, sandy, rocky and there was also a splash pad where fountains of water come up that they can play in. A dog spa for giving our babies a bath. The entire grounds are pet friendly and there are pet stations throughout the grounds. If I could have stayed longer I would have. This is the place that all pet friendly hotels should learn from!

  Great place

  We stayed here five nights. Very comfortable room. They had dog bowls in the room. A dog pulls out from the bottom of our bed. Nice dog park right behind the building. Everything is dog friendly. Free laundry and dog wash. Walking distance to town. We drove up to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park.

  Pet Centric Lodging

  I wish there were more hotels like Roadhouse. Dogs can go anywhere on the property. There is an enclosed dog park and also a dog spa, where you can wash and dry your pet. The spa provides shampoo, conditioner, and towels.

  The rooms are well insulated and very comfortable. We had a room with a Queen bed and the sitting area was great. The room has a refrigerator and coffee machine. Breakfast was limited, but we were fine with what they had to offer. We're not big breakfast eaters so what they offered was perfect. We definitely would stay again.

  If in Kanab, do not miss a stay at Best Friends Roadhouse. From the moment of arrival, the mood is peaceful and all staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous, beautifully appointed with your own sitting room and a pullout bed for your dog. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a doggie playground, pet wash area, laundry facilities and hotel Is walking distance to several good restaurants. The Roadhouse misses no detail, including double entry doors into your room to prevent pet escape. I can’t speak highly enough of my stay here!

  Stay where everyone loves dogs!

  You & your dog will feel right at home at BF Roadhouse with it’s casual, friendly vibe. Our dog loved the pull-out bed, romped at the dog park, & even let us give her a bath in the special grooming room. Double doors at the park & in the guest rooms are a great security bonus. It’s a beautiful hotel for humans too with free breakfast and nice amenities.

  FANTASTIC dog hotel!

  This is the ultimate. They are dog centric. Clean spare and very friendly. Full on dog park in the back. Rooms come with a trundle dog bed at the foot of the bed. Spent two days here and loved it. Would give them more bones if I could.
